My biggest interest is WWII -even greater than the Bills.
BuffaloBill replied to Chandler#81's topic in Off the Wall
My dad is a big WWII buff. He retired to Bedford, Va where the D-Day memorial is. Volunteers there a couple of times a week giving tours and helping with general duties. -
I joined the board relatively late - my nickname is Bill (William) - The fact that BuffaloBill remained available by the time I joined is crazy.

He might have you offed for that.

That was hilarious 😆

It’s amazing how consistent human nature is. It’s funny to read some of the comments in there and you could simply insert Bills where there was the word Chiefs. The sentiments read the same after a tough loss.

I know this is PFF but Saffold has been a disappointment this year. -

The Bills have really done a superb job with the back end of their defense. Crazy too think that Tre comes back as icing on the cake vs the cake itself. -

I assume all of them including Tre will be rotated in and out. Tre likely to be on a pitch count. To answer your question, Benford if fully healthy comes in as the #2 - I just think the coaching staff is higher on him. Tough to say as now, Elam has more games under his belt. It’s a good problem to have.

Sideline TEMPERATURE Dolphins v Vikings
BuffaloBill replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall
This^^^^ Players have a chance to protect themselves from the cold. Extreme heat is a different story. -
Keep in mind the clock does not start until a member of the receiving team touches the ball. Therefore, hypothetically if an opposing player simply and cleanly falls on the ball and in the process “gives himself up” no time might come off the clock. I guess the hope on a squib is a player touches the ball but does not cleanly field it.

I tend to agree from the standpoint that Hill / Kelce were an elite dual threat. Kelce remains an elite single threat and was a monster for the Bills to deal with. Mahomes, maybe like Josh is at his best when he goes off script. Josh clearly looks for Diggs as a 1st choice but I would argue he also makes use of others. Mahomes either has not developed that chemistry or it has not worked out for him so far this season. I do wonder like many around here if McKenzie’s playing time drops simply because he does not seem to play as well off script. Shakir may be prone to rookie mistakes but has also displayed a unique set of abilities. I think after the bye Lil’dirty will be relegated to return duties.

Studs and Duds: AFC Teams after 6 Games
BuffaloBill replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
Turnovers seem to run in spurts and if this is true the Jets are in the midst of a good, favorable run. The law of averages also often holds true so a run of “bad” luck may also hit them. One thing that has always stuck with me is once in Bills history (I honestly do not remember the coach - it was during the drought) a coach said an athletically inferior player and team is more susceptible to injuries and mistakes because the player or the team will try to overcome the gap through a little extra effort, reach or trying to somehow overcome their slight disadvantage. This is a logical statement that seems to make a lot of sense. The Jets are loaded with high draft picks and therefore athletically gifted players. Maybe they are finally putting this with good coaching and have themselves a team. Only time will tell. With all of that said the Bills are better. -
No doubt we have someone very special in JA. However, and somewhat cruelly the league will now judge him on whether he wins consistently in the playoffs and collects any Lombardi trophies. All of the pieces, including JA himself, are in place. Time will tell if the Bills put a Super Bowl win and hopefully wins in the books.
