First I saw this though a friend told me about it yesterday. Pretty cool move but the way it was talked up I expected more; even if he got the kick off and it went 15-20 yards I'd have been really impressed. As is he saved what, 6 or 7 yards?

I guess he's lucky. I had a friend about 5 years ago that actually shot and killed a drunk who entered his( and his pregnant wife's) home. Apparently the guy had rented a place for the weekend a few doors down while in town for a wedding. After repeated attempts to encourage him to leave, and while on the phone with 911, the guy made a move towards the wife and was shot dead. Tragic on all sides. So yeah, he's lucky
I think I may have known the kid who got shot. Was he from the Adirondacks originally? Tragic story. He was a good kid. Good student and athlete at the school I went to. I played basketball with him. Was a teacher in the Albany area for underprivileged kids. Always had issues with alcohol though, just a little would make him go off kilter, like he was on drugs or something. Has to be the same story. Just terrible for everyone involved...

Here is the opening to that Miami playoff game. Jump ahead to the 2:35 mark for the "winter slaughter house line." I wanted to jump through the TV I was so pumped. Even though we never won the Bowl those were glorious timesWas that the 341 rushing yards game? Great line by Musberger! My uncle took my 14 year old brother to that game...not a sellout if I recall and tickets came easy. My brother didn't even follow the Bills back then!!
Ha! Ralph was too cheap to buy new white helmets with the standing Buffalo. (the true throwbacks.) Instead he had the equipment guy slap a white Buffalo sticker on the red helmet.
It was the NFL's call if I remember. They had a rule about changing the base color of the helmet for the "throwbacks"

It was. Thomas, Holmes and Tindale went nuts. I was 19 and in my freshman year of college. Remember watching that game with my newly purchased Bryce Paup jersey on.
