  1. Pittsburgh, Pa, left Buffalo (Lakeview) for Florida in 1970, and then relocated to Pa in 1975.

I was only 10 when we left, but remember watching the Bills with family during their glory days.

Then we got O.J. around the same time and I was hooked for life.Say what you want about the man,

but nobody outside of maybe Barry Sanders was more exciting to watch run. From the cops or otherwise.

Funny how the Dolphins were good the whole time in Fla, and then the Stillers the whole time

I have been here, I need to move back to Buffalo!!!

  2. I haven't read all of these posts yet, just sampled a few, but I can't think of anybody not

thinking that this is strange, especially seeing it for themselves live, it is the first thing that came to my mind,

"man is that wierd or what". It is definitley staged and can't be sincere. The other thing that I noticed about Roger, is that he looks extremly uncomfortable in the spotlight, and when he gets to the podium, it looks like he might start stuttering or something, not to diss anybody who does, but he just does not come across to me as a confident individual,

    and sure of himself.

  3. interesting how you tally the wins-losses...49ers is a win for us eh? and no other posters have flamed away for that yet either yet eh? interesting again...

My only flame, is, geez, it seems like a long time since SF has had to come to Buffalo????

  4. Richardson would be a great pick but I think trading Fred would be a mistake. After Buddy telling the media, Fred and his agent they are going to offer an extension, to back out on that would be a blow to the Bills credibility and IMO hurt our chances at other FAs in the future

So, give him an extension and then trade him, I like the idea. Why do we really care that we will not be compensated fairly

for Freddy, we have our feature back for years to come, and we can make Spiller the WR that we desperatley need. Chan was

gonna have difficulty getting them enough touches at RB anyway. Pull the trigger, getrdone.

  5. It's a dead issue as far as I'm concerned. Freddy is staying with the Bills. I take it at Buddy's word. He's a lethal weapon in the offense. No Reason for the Bills to Trade up. If you listen to Buddy, he said if anything He'd trade down for more picks, not up.

    Listen to BUDDY!!!!!

We have to believe this, after all it is coming from the most un-interesting man on the planet.

  6. I lived in South Florida in the 70's and was at the Orange Bowl many times for Bills/Dolhins games,

and well as other Dolphins games as well. Well they don't use that, at least the Dolpins anymore, and I do not have

any other comparison as that is the only one besides the Ralph that I have been too.

But that stadium, atmosphere, and layout reminded me very much of the Ralph.

People parking in front lawns and the stadium in sort of like a residential area.

  7. I still have a Bills 1988/89 Fredonia Training Camp Pennant on my wall, it has, I think,

all of the attendees autographs, or at least most of them. I loved Fredonia.

Man, you could just walk right up to guys during the breaks, before or after, they were all

very approachable. Got a chance to visit with Paul McGuire while he waited for someone to

fix his flat tire, great guy, very personable.

I had a video camera, and back then they looked like ones that the news stations lug around.

Some of the players, most notably Haslett, were looking at me pretty nastily like. I think that

they thought I was a reporter or something. I was right up close to Bruce, and he was looking at

me like he wanted to wrap that camera around my head, very scary. We now he can do bad things, man.

  8. My son is a Steelers fan. He tries to make me feel better by telling me he roots for the Bills when they are not playing each other. He wants me to do the same, but I just can't.

The good thing, however, is that he also hates the Patriots.

My whole fam damily is too, and it is very tough, I always tell them, that when we get one, just one dam it,

then I might be a little more passionate about the Stellars, but I just can't now, so I fake enthusiasm.

Although i do respect and envy them.

  9. Agreed, I think that the NFL got somewhat of a black eye for all of the bad calls in the playoffs,

and Goodell didn't want another one. I am not saying that he told them to swallow the whistle, but

I bet he advised them to back off a little. The more flags they throw, the more they leave themselves open to

criticism. I thought that there were a number of non calls, especially pass interfernce on the Pats, but it was generally

going both ways. Those shouldn't be calls in the first place, and it was refreshing to just watch them play.

I thought for sure they were going to call a late hit on Brady, on the play that the Giants got the saftey,

the fact that the didn't, and then flagged him for intentional grounding, I knew that this game was going to be called

    a bit different.
