I love him as a player. But I wouldn't want him anywhere near my locker room.
This is essentially my viewpoint as well. Were the Buffalo Bills to move him, what would you project his value to be in terms of a draft pick at this point?
-
Hey Tim,
Great to have you on the board, thanks for your time and insight!
What is your impression of Marshawn Lynch as a player and what do you see in regards to his future with the Buffalo Bills?
Thanks!

Whitner = bust
Hardy = bust
Maybin = bust
Lynch = pretty much a bust
yet Modrak drafts once again for the bust-ridden Buffalo Bills
Whitner is hardly a bust. He is an average NFL player at this point who is very versatile. You could argue that he was not worth his draft position.
Hardy cannot be called a bust. Recievers take a year or two to develop in a good offense. The guy tore his ACL his rookie year and barely saw the field this year. Combine that with our anemic passing game, its no wonder he has done nothing to this point. But he is hardly a bust at this point. (although could end up being one.)
Maybin was a project when we drafted him. He has done nothing but still has potential.
Lynch is not a bust either.
Sorry, I think you are off base or premature on all of your points.
McCargo - Now THERE is a bust.

Can I just say that this thread is AWESOME.
I have my money on LSU. I just have a feeling!

People think the 3-4 is gonna cure all ills. It won't. Especially without the personnel to run it. JMO
No. It will not. I wanted the switch because the 3-4 has always been my personal preference for a defensive scheme. I just like it as a scheme. But like any other defense we will have to acquire the personel to effectively run it. Now I do think we have some pieces already here.

Sorry man, I immediately edited as I saw the other ones, I completely overlooked them somehow. I hope this thread is closed as well.
Haha. Its no big deal, I was just joking with you. GO BILLS
-
I predict this thread will be closed.
Did you really think you were the first to post it? Or did you just want attention?

I am not so sure. That 2003 Redskins D that Edwards coordinated did not fare so well.
24th overall, allowed 4.4 yds per rush.
Fine. But according to your link they were 11th overall in scoring against. IMO the most important statistic.

Shut up.
Why he speaks the truth~!

Ha! its Red....not pink
Chester the molester!
....
Just kidding.

Nelson could/should develop into major stud.
I am very bearish on Hardy, though; when he did play, I seem to recall he suffered from a case of the drops
Nelson has the most potential IMO. This guy looks like a real gamer. So far I have been pleasantly surprised by his block (he was merely bad instead of disasterous) but he has proven already that he can be a major asset in the passing game.

Interesting..didnt know that.
Ive never missed any games, ever really....and I can not recall him being on the field, dressed on the sidelines, etc EVER after that Jump-Ball. That is why I was curious.
...and how the hell did he tear his ACL? in practice? I mean, I literally dont think I have ever heard or seen anything about him after he caught that ball.
I thought it was just SOP for the Bills.....who more and more I am actually starting to hate, and almost dont even care if the franchise is moved.
He tore his ACL in week 15 of last year against the NYJ. It appears he started 3 games throughout the year last year. Here is a link:

I'm willing to give Hardy one more year to prove something to me. If he can't keep his ass healthy and play at least 12 games then he's a total BUST!
Agreed, this should be a make it or break it year for Hardy.
-
Agreed. I actually thought Hardy pulled a Christian Okoye .....and simply disappeared into nowhere. I refrence that player because news was minimal when he went away. Its like we say Hardy catch a "Jump-Ball" touchdown (which is exactly what we drafted him to do) and that was it. He was put away in a cupbord or something.
I blame all of this on the past administration and ownership (which by the way is the worst run business...ive ever seen, they simply have a product that people want which keeps them out of the red). As I blame much of JP Losmans and Trent Edwards failures on them also. This team has been, for soooooo long, been a place that completely destroys careers, both new and veteran, that I am shocked ANYONE plays here, or coaches here. Its an awful, awful, awful organization to work for, looking from the outside. In fact, I would fake injury and do just about anything to not have to play here.
which is what I believe happened with both of these players...or they "fell through the cracks" which is completely possibly is this crap organization.
Hardy disappeared after that "jump ball" against the Jags because he had a series of very ineffective games with a lot of costly penalties and mistakes (ie running wrong routes). The team decided he was no ready. I agree, he was going to be a project when they drafted him. As for why he has remained in the cupboard...he tore his ACL last year and wasn't even added to the active roster from the "PUP" list until after mid-season. He still had a ton of potential.

so claims Saturday Night Live. Anyone else feel too lazy to leave the house and see this tonight? No clips up yet, but an alien attacks Frank Reich, as played by Don Draper from "Mad Men." The next scene is Reich having been turned into said alien with large dinosaur-esque tail.
Mildly funny but suitably weird.
I thought it was pretty funny to be honest. But very weird.
For the record I wasn't to lazy to leave the house the 1 degree temperature and -10 windchill deterred me from bar hopping.

Bill Polian. He drafted some of the greatest players in Bills history. With out Bill, I don't know if we would have been to 4 consecutive superbowls.
If this isn't exclusive to players. I have to say Ralph. He made it all possible. Polian is a good choice though.

I would like to nominate B Stein 22. Hilarious.
-
If yer talking pure talent, it begins and ends with Bruce Smith. All the other players are great...but Bruce is an all world great.
+1

The guy was perfect from inside 40. And above average beyond 40. Is this seriously your biggest concern?
The Indianapolis Colts, they are a team that needs to address the kicker position, the Bills are not.
