  1. No, Jason Peters play at LT is BAD....m'kay?

Those who know everything about football and how to run a team are only "giving it a rest now" 'cause, well, ya know...

For whatever it's worth he has looked pretty bad so far this year. This is certainly no rant but he got beat 7 times (then I stopped counting) in the game VS the Raiders. From what I saw he was responsible for at least 2 sacks and the strip of Edwards - here's to hoping he starts gettin it together.

  2. I have seen the Patriots ranked all over during the last couple of days and to be honest with you I don't have a problem with any of the rankings - I think the bottom line for me is, they haven't lost a regular season game yet....

Let them lose one regular season game and then we'll see where they are ranked. It's only going to take one horrible showing before people are jumping off that bandwagon saying that this is the real Patriots without Brady.

I could care less where the Bills are ranked, although the Wednesday power rankings are a definite guilty pleasure of mine and it does make me all giddy when they are ranked as high as they are. I have opinions of my own on my rankings and stuff about each team, just wish I got paid for writing it down.

Great initial post though, thanks for the insight.

  3. We should have you attend all the bills games - including the Superbowl - anyone willing to kick in a few bucks to fund this? <_<

I'm in, I'll sacrifice my Sundays for the good of the team.

Hey.... I like Skoal and the Billls, plus live in Florida... I don't have a mullet though..... LOL

Fittingly I was wearing my t-shirt saying, "cut your mullet"

  4. The only response is "real fans never abandon their team."

I wasn't sure that this would actually get through, the only Jags fans I cared for were the skinny little females wearing bandaid sized skirts and a Jaguars bandana tied around their chest....excellent, we picked the perfect postgame tailgating spot.

Being my first away game ever, I was amazed at the stupidity at some of these sun drenched Jags fans - as a side note, I STILL have not ever seen the Bills lose in person!!!

  5. When I was leaving the stadium yesterday I had an old guy and his daughter start taunting me telling me to enjoy shoveling snow.....I live in Orlando so obviously this didn't apply to me.

The guy proceeded to tell me that my allegiance was all messed up because now that I lived in a Jaguars market I should automatically become a Jaguars fan and the fact that I no longer live in the Buffalo area means I have already betrayed my team.

His reasoning was as follows, "we moved from Denver to Jacksonville a year ago and you don't see us wearing Broncos gear anymore do you?"....

To which I had absolutely NO response.....so for all you Bills fans who live outside of the Tri State area - according to these Jags fans you have already alienated your team and have to switch...

    HA!

  6. I posted this on another thread but since I was there I'll say it again. There were a good 1000 seats or so covered and the stadium was about 3/4 full at kick-off. Half full after half-time. 1/4 full after the jags took the late lead. The remainder were filing out with their tails between their legs after the Edwards to Hardy TD. I loved it!

I was at the game and on my way out of the stadium I must have heard 20 times "have fun shoveling snow".....to which I responded, I actually live in Orlando so I'm not sure that will be a problem. Saw two Jags fans getting arrested, had to laugh at them....overall the fans weren't bad most of them said nice game but a lot of them were shocked, I think they expected to just roll into the superbowl this year.

  7. Section 132 Row FF - Me and a buddy from Orlando

    GO BILLS !!! :pirate:

I'll be there with 3 other Bills fans from Orlando!!!

There's a group of 10 of us that are going from Orlando, although I'm the only Bills fan among the group I've recruited my good friend who's a Steelers fan to wear the #5 Trent Edwards Jersey. It should be Fun, I think we're in section 218 row Y or something along those lines.

  8. Hey guys im buying a throwback on the eve of the season, little expensive but ill be wearing it every sunday for the rest of my life.....

    Go Bills!!!!!!

Lets Kick ass Bills fans

What player is it that you will be sporting? I tried to buy a Donte Whitner throwback but it wasn't available in time so I went with what was really my first choice in Trent Edwards....number 5, can't beat it. GO BILLS!

  9. Didn't a Yankee bench warmer get caught stealing Derek Jeter's glove a few years ago to sell for profit???

That's a dirty move. I could see stealing a bat, or a jersey, but a guy's glove is sacred...It takes seasons to get a glove broken in to where it feels "right"...

I guess some people can't help themselves.

That would be Juan Rivera, now plays for the Angels. He was released the next day.

  10. This week seems like it is taking forever im just sitting here thinking about me cheering my ass off on sunday 27 rows off the feild im so PUMPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wish BB.com would post more videos to occupy my boredom before the season.........I can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE WILL SLAUGHTER THE SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Lucky....Never been to a home opener - the highlight of my Bills watching experiences was watching the AFC championship game agains the Broncos back in the day.

I'll be sitting at my favorite bar in Orlando with my brand spanken new Whitner throwback jersey. Only paid $50.00 for it - sweet deal.

    Go Bills!

  11. According to Forbes' 2006 numbers, the Jags made more in gate receipts ($40M) than the Bills did ($36M). But total revenue was the same. And I believe that in 2006, the last 3 games had a lot of empty seats (despite the Bills being in the playoff hunt until the final seconds of the 2nd-to-last/Titans game).

Well there it is, thanks for that. Let LA take the Jaguars!

  12. LA is the WORST football market in the country...even worse than Jacksonville and that is saying something...

Those people there could care less about the NFL and their teams...they are too busy shopping on Rodeo Drive...

Agreed, I look at LA as I look at Jacksonville. Obviously LA is bigger but in Jax college football is a lot bigger than the NFL. Jax is a lot bigger than Buffalo and I don't know the numbers but I'd bet that Buffalo does much better at the gates.

  13. I really don't want to drop to 0-2, and considering the week 2 matchup, a whole lot comes down to the opener.

Fear not - I'm going to that game in Jacksonville and have never in my 13 Bills games attended ever seen the Bills lose. Not to worry, the real question is will we be 5-0 going into the bye week?
