In a game that saw Namath complete only 2 of 18 passes, the Bills were the last NFL team to go an entire game without completing a forward pass.
My best memory, I gave my tickets to my parents who got soaked in what some have called the hurricane game.

1987 was the year I knew we were on track; great story about Tally and Bennett walking off the field after the last game disappointed about not making the playoffs. Tally stated nest year they would be in the playoffs and be competitive for many years to come.
Bennett was phenominal in that last game in 1987. He was all over the field and recorded close to 20 tackles.

Nope, I was in attendance; Kemp came in relief and almost led a comeback. Jimmy Harris had a tough day as did OJ; Enyart caught a TD pass from Kemp; and the Superbowl Jets received a standing O in the Rockpile!
I'll defer to you. I remember sitting in end zone later when Enyart missed a block on kick off and OJ ripped apart his knee as a result.

Anderson deserved to get cut. Same with John Parrella.
I'd say Ted Washington.
Always thought Anderson purposely tanked in order to get cut after prolonged hold out.
Not resigning Rashad after he missed all of 1975 season with knee injury was a major mistake although technically not a cut.

You sure Harris and Enyart started in 1969? I thought Kemp and Patrick started before giving way to Harris and "Earthquake"

The 1968 and 1969 Buffalo Bills started the season openers with very unique offensive backfields, I am pretty sure it is unmatched in NFL history! Can you name it?

Kelly's first regular season opponent in Rich was the Jets. 1986. I was there. Stayed the week in Buffalo and made a stop halfway towards Atlanta the following Sunday, stopping in Cincinnati for Kelly's second regular season game. Lost both.
As I said earlier, I believe the questioner was going the trick question route. Kelly's first opponent at Rich was Syracuse when he played for University of Miami.

If memory serves, Syracuse played University of Miami at Rich whiles Kelly was there. Think Dome was being constructed but not 100% sure on facts. I guess I'm getting old.

I was at a Rolling Stones all day concert in July 1978 with some great other bands. By the time the Stones played everybody was wasted and they sucked (from what I remember) then a late afternoon storm blew in and they halted...peeps got pissed and started throwing fireworks at the stage. Fortunately we had a friend with a van that didn't drink and he herded us out of the place and safely back to Elmira. Anybody out there that was there???
I was there and you are right, they were awful. So bad in fact that I didn't go the next time and heard they were great.

He hasn't really excelled in this defense, something many others have. Since he serves no obvious role on defense, he's probably gone at the end of the season.
He played two games in this system.
The coaches love him and if he wasn't injured would have signed for big money. As it is, Bills would love him back but at a reduced rate due to injury. He may not be able to work out for anybody which will hinder his bargaining position.

Take a look at the Safety where the punter ran out of the endzone. There was holding all over the place linemen were tackled. What's the point? Few seconds maybe, maybe someone hits the punter and causes a fumble. Point is throw the flag when you are suppose to throw the flag.
A holding call on the safety was moot. A flag would have netted the same result. In fact the lineman were instructed by their coach to hold cause it would have had same result and actually allowed more time for punter to waste.
That being said, officiating is a joke in the NFL.

I was just looking through that and I would have to agree. Ballard was a steal in the 7th round.
Honestly, it is pretty pathetic looking at all the misses the Bills have had in the past 10 years. Buddy has been better but still average compared to the talent evaluation we had in the late 80's through the 90's.
How in the hell did we draft Gary Anderson and he not make the team in '82? Now that was the year I was born but come on. I just looked up our kicker from that season and we had two different kickers and both were terrible.

Ugh I just had a flashback of Super Bowl XXV and replaced Norwood with Anderson in my head as our kicker...
Anderson held out and when he signed was horrible in preseason. Some have speculated he tanked it hoping to get released.
