  1. I pray we never find out. A lot of you grossly overrate the talent on this roster outside of Josh Allen. And it's not like there's a heady coach leading the way to mask this.

Also, let's not compare this team to the Pats the year Brady got hurt. That was a loaded roster coming off an almost unbeaten season. Their top receiver was Randy Moss. The Bills top receiver this year is closer to Kate Moss than Randy.

EDIT: Also, nobody talks about Nate Clements anymore but he was a shutdown corner while in Buffalo.

Was wondering if anyone would mention Jabari Greer. He was quietly excellent here for a couple of seasons. Took the idiot coaches forever to get him on the field consistently (even though some fans here were screaming for them to do so) because he wasn't a high draft pick. But when he finally got a regular role, he was great.

I follow a couple Facebook sites for our beloved Bills.  And some of them seem to post crap.  Like today there is something about Pegula not recognizing NFL Pride Day; it is apparently based on some Twitter thing from a guy in Vietnam and several thousand folks bought into it despite anything on reputable sites saying anything and despite the Bills recognizing Pride month on their official site.

Then there is a Bills Mafia site with someone named Amber Olivia who keeps posting all this crap about having to recognize stuff.  Most all of it seems like nonsense.

Anyone else experience the same?  Any advice on which to follow and not?

  4. Guy won the lottery with Allen. He gets credit for that. But even he could not have foreseen how good Josh was going to be.

And Allen actually is not being paid what he's worth so this nonsense about "paying a qb so you can't pay others" is ridiculous. Every other good team does it. And Allen is better than all of them.

    Beane embarrassed himself on wgr.

  5. A simple solution would be that you just don't allow teams to call a player before drafting him and let the official podium announcement be the way the guy finds out.

You'd also get an authentic reaction instead of the draftee and his family acting shocked when they already know what's about to happen.

Have to get ahead of the Chargers I would imagine

they felt they could move down and still get him.  He was “Josh’s guy” at WR

considering every other NFL team has the ability to select anyone….. lots of variables

They had no assurance he would be there at their pick after they traded with KC, considering the Panthers were also in the market for a receiver. If they really wanted him, they would have taken him there.

They were obviously fine with any of Keon, worthy or leggette. Glass half full..draft is a crapshoot so better to take whoever and get more picks. Glass half empty..they didn't have conviction on who the better prospect was.

    Fair warning:

Tipping picks is an instant suspension, either in real time or if I see later that you had been doing it.

Have some respect for the rest of the community and just don't do it.

Just avoid it altogether; trying to manage two different threads is a pita and not worth it

That would be fantastic and I would amend it to "announced the pick on the network broadcast".

Would be great if this message could be a new pinned subject title..just sayin :)

  8. 1. Josh Allen is the most physically gifted QB to ever step foot on an NFL field

    2. Sean McDermott is the unsung hero of the Chiefs dynasty

    3. God actually did make Stevie drop that pass in OT

    4. Kaiir Elam is going to have a productive career in Dallas. Okay maybe not..

    5. Dawson Knox is and always has been a far superior player to Kincaid in every aspect, including receiving.

I think the Bills are "set" at safety after they add a mid-round pick there. I think Hamlin adds depth while Forrest is their competition for Rapp/Cole. I think they will add a mid-rounder for depth/development given that Hamlin and Forrest are on one year deals.

Could not disagree more. Safety might be their weakest position group. This is the guy they should have paid for instead of Bosa. Maybe they can make it work somehow. Would love this for the secondary.

  10. I was at the game and finally mustered the energy to watch the CBS broadcast just last week. And it confirmed my initial thoughts. That was a very beatable Chiefs team and the Bills simply blew it again.

The o line had their worst game of the season. Receivers couldn't get open. On defense, they got outclassed badly again from a coaching perspective. As is normal now in playoff games against the Chiefs, mahomes had his primary receiver wide open within 1.5 seconds of the snap on far too many plays. Bruce Smith and Reggie White in their primes on either end weren't getting to the qb that day.

On top of all this, it just felt like the Chiefs wanted it more. They played with more desperation and far more intensity. It brings me back to one thing in that Tyler Dunne article that's stuck with me. The team follows the head coach's lead in getting tight in these moments.

Despite all this, they had a chance to win at the end because of one guy who has literally zero margin for error. He'd never do it but I wish Allen would push Pegula to replace this amateur coaching staff.
