When the Bills play in the "nickel", they remove the mike LB so the responsibility falls to the outside LB covering the TE. That's why Ellison got caught by Watson in the first game.

The Bills weren't removing the mike when poz was in their. Who was coming off the field, Veek or Ellison? I can't really remember.

It's funny how the perception of him changed so rapidly around here. He went from a bargain bin pickup who couldn't even start on his own team, to the anchor of our line. Round and round we go! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I'm honestly not very worried about this game, I think we win it easily. Aint's are one dimensional on offense, poor on defense, and horrid on special teams. We are a much more balanced team.

My local station will be showing Jets-NE for the early game.
How can I watch this? Hope for a tie? As many injury's as possible? Hope NE clobbers the Jets so it makes the Bills look better?
Got to root for the patriots to lose since they already beat us, don't want them 2-0 in the division. We still got two against the jets.

You guys are both wrong. The split safeties both had outside responsibility for the Wide Receivers. If either of them shaded towards the middle of the field, he'd have been out of position in that defense and screwing the CB whose back he was supposed to have.

The deck was stacked against us at that point. I'm excited about our young o-line but I just knew it was going to end badly with a couple sacks. Right now their strength is being very athletic, not blocking for 5 seconds. If we just had a little more time we could have thrown another screen into the mix, or went underneath a couple times.

Ya, I was hoping for another 3-4 more plays to burn clock on that first drive as well. Jaworski called it, right before they scored the TD he said that they should be looking for something up the middle and next play BAM!!! TouchDown up the middle
I really enjoyed the broadcast team. Best there is in my opinion.

People are trying to explain this loss based on their preconceived ideas of the team. If they thought the coaching sucked BEFORE the game, then that is why we lost.
In reality it was a freak loss. McKelvin appeared to be protecting the ball well, it just came out. !@#$ happens. I think this loss could be a real positive and cement this team together. I like this teams character, they are all heart.
I don't care what anyone says, I have a man crush on Donte Whitner and I wear his jersey proudly. I don't think anyone in this league could care more or bring it harder. How many times did Brady test him deep?

Dick has never had good talent. Guess a lot of you "experts" lost a lot of money on your sure bets giving the points. We have a good team, and this one hurts. I'm drunk, I cried, and I love the BILLS.
