  1. I think it was a little more telling that he's never heard anything about them ever being for sale. It could certainly be a poker face, but I really hate the idea of no succession plan by Mr. Wilson whatsoever. This might also mean that Golisano is not on Jim Kelly's list of "investors" (which I am confident does actually exist). His statements might be opening the door for those conversations if they haven't happened yet.

Man, it would be nice to not have to speculate all the time and worry about our teams leaving.

  2. I went to UMass, along with Ducasse and Tannenbaum. Might have something to do with drafting him (albeit a little). I think Vlad will be a starter soon enough, but he didn't start playing football until his junior year in Stamford, CT...not exactly a football hot bed. Was drafted as a project but does look raw at this point.

  3. I actually know for a fact Jim Kelly has been working with Mr. Wilson's financial people in recent weeks and discussing options. I'm guessing they're determining the feasibility of whatever it is that Jim and Mr. Wilson are working out, but they have indeed had these discussions and things are in the works. Not saying much more, but take it for what it's worth. I know I'm excited about the idea.

  4. I'm actually willing to bet he'll be motivated and put up a huge game against McGee and our D...the media is making a big deal out of it which doesn't bode well for our average Defense. They're running game has been solid, and Brady will get him and Welker involved and we shall get smoked.

  5. What we already know...

Rosenhaus says Bills line "potentially worst in the league"

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on November 6, 2009 2:40 PM ET

There are many reasons for Terrell Owens' miserable season in Buffalo. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, is happy to give them to you. Ta

"It's incredible frustrating and I think you can basically pin it to three things," Rosenhaus told Joe Rose on WQAM this week. "Number one, coaching. Number two, quarterback play. Trent Edwards has been a disappointment this year, then he got injured and they brought in a backup quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Neither guy has played well."

Rosenhaus seemed to be warming up to what he sees as the biggest issue in Buffalo.

"The offensive line, I believe, is potentially the worst in the NFL. Especially at the tackle position, they got rid of almost every starter from last year, banked on revamping it . . . It's absolutely shocking how that offensive line play has prohibited them from being an effective offense."

Even Bills fans would find it hard to argue with Rosenhaus' points, no matter how much self-interest he has in the reasons. (We do wonder how these comments will be received, though, if they make it to the Bills locker room.) Lee Evans is a quality vertical threat in the middle of his prime, and only has 50 yards and two touchdowns more than Owens for many of the same reasons above.

T.O. is clearly not the dominant force he was in the past; he's not a top-ten wideout and doesn't seperate from defenders like he used to. But it's hard to tell just how how far Owens has declined because of the situation around him.

  6. The thought of the Bills playing possum is exciting, smart, and almost Belicheckian...therefor, there's no chance it will happen. Even if they had conservative game plans in the preseason with Trent not even looking downfield, they'd still be trying to complete those short passes and protect the QB. Neither of which they've done.

Again, I love the idea, but this team could never pull it off.
