Agree 100% -- I thought he was down by contact and was wondering aloud why we didn't challenge the play. Down at the 1 vs. down at the 5 actually does make a difference (whether it is making their punter punt from deep in their own end-zone or increases the likelihood of a safety).
I don't think it has to do with bottom feeders getting no respect from the officials though... it's just a sloppy call that needed to be challenged.

The play calling in the second half and OT was good, except for when we got within 5 yards of field goal range. If Chan had ran on 1st and 2nd down on the first and/or last series when we were near/just in field goal range we would have had at the bare minimum a tie and likely a win. Chan, Fitz, and Lindell all choked when inside the Chiefs 45.
**THIS** is absolutely spot on.
When you're within 5yards of FG range and you don't run the ball ONCE it's a f*cking travesty. We have Jackson & Spiller and we go Pass-Pass-Pass with a guy who threw one of the worst late-game INTs I've ever seen. I have no problem with Fitz overall, but you really want the game in his hands when you're that close to Lindell's range? The end was like some sick-joke...I really thought we might tie this game but there's no excuse for not running the ball there at the end... no excuse.
RUN THE DAMN BALL.

So he pushed, the guy still hit a 13 team parlay, I bet he isn't pissed.
Pretty sure you only win if you get them all right... So pushing makes his $100,000 ticket worth zero...but I'm not an expert on what the Delaware rules are. (EDIT: someone told me that his ticket may revert to a 14-game parlay and would still pay him $50,000, if true that's good for him...)

Wonder if this guy hedged. If not, he pushed the last game and didn't win his $100k...
Moneyline on the Eagles would have been a good hedge, since they were underdogs...

Funny thing is, that when he made this bet, Philly was a 3-pt favorite. Now they are a 3-pt dog. He can bet the other way and potentially win both bets...

Is this serious? How do you have a message board about a football team without QB discussions? So does every reference to Edwards/Brohm/Fitzpatrick get deleted? Shouldn't all the threads about Edwards getting benched be deleted?

Last I checked, 0 yards on 3rd down is a loss of possession. Not the time to throw it away
So put yourself in worse field position by taking a sack *and* get your body driven to the ground by a 250lb man - makes sense.

It is on 3rd down.
Last I checked an incomplete pass is 0-yards and that sack was -14(?)yards. Not to mention the abuse his body is taking by taking that sack (and as we know, edwards is injury prone...)

Need an assist. Having a bachelor party up in niagara falls this weekend and we booked our flights too early to go to the home opener (plus we have some out of town non-bills fans that are more interested in watching the Bears/Redskins/etc than watching the bills). Flight out is at 5:30...
Where is a good football bar to watch all the games relatively close to the airport?

How does this compare with the rest of the league or our division? I assume we're younger, but it would be interesting to see where we rank among the 32 teams. I'd also be interested in seeing if there's any correlation between avg age and how much success you have in this league -- I wonder what the optimal age is to make a super bowl run?

My Dog's name is Fletcher... Which I liked for other reasons too, but I was always a fan of Mr. London Fletcher.
Incidentally, like 2wks after I named my dog, London Fletcher legally changed his name to London Fletcher-Baker.
