  1. TT just 2 weeks earlier had a game where he had ONE PASS INCOMPLETION......

QB success is not measured on a god damn graph......it is up and down....it is based on the competition faced......it is based on how many times did his receivers drop balls that they could have caught.

    John, not this again

IIRC in same game Tannehill had 17 straight pass completions.

    Also

In a two game stretch -

Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill sets NFL record with 25 straight completions

Facing the Texans Tannehill completed his first 18 passes.

That is an accomplishment you boast about.

I like Tyrod, he just isn't one of the top 10 passer in the league with 20 or more passes in a game over half a season

    edit --

    continued

Let me try to show you the fault once again in the stats with a small sample size.

Player ATT COMP PCT YDS LNG RATING

    Cecil Shorts 1 1 100 21 21 158.3

    Kellen Clemens 6 5 83.3 63 19 150

    Matt Moore 1 1 100 14 4 118.8

Are these guys honestly the top 3 passers in the league?

  2. Every time there was a FG or punt the announcers made a point to mention whether the wind was at their back or they were kicking into it.

Yes, I recall that as well.

There was wind, the question is how much did the wind gusts impact the game?

Could it be that these two gentlemen were in an area where the wind was still?

  3.

The refs blew some stuff, sure, but if Hotrod throws a few of those bombs 3 yards longer instead of short and Leodis doesn't muff the punt, someone doesn't miss a tackle in the final minute of the first half, we still win. Refs were bad, but we had too many unrealized opportunities. The game was there for the taking regardless.

You sound like a Seahawks fan.

Kind of sounds like the London game ... Had mistakes not been made other than by EJ ..... B-)

  4. If you ignore the coin flip, they have 6 right and 3 wrong so far. I think that would mean bet what they say, if anything :)

I must have misread the text as it might be misleading. As I read this the following were all wrong

Lost to the Giants when given a 72% chance to win - Who had 72% to win Bills or Giants?

Lost to Jax when given a 76% chance to win - Who had 76% to win Bills or Jax?

Beat the Jets when given a 44% chance to win - Who had 44% to win Bills or NYETS?

  5. even if it wasn't too late for this week NE vs Denver is a lock

Week 13 4PM games are all good match ups IND-PIT on SNF

Week 14 - Oak Denver, Dallas GB @ 4 - Seattle Balto on SNF

Week 15 - Buff at Wash a possibility over Cinci v SF on SNF

Week 16 - Dallas @ Buff a possibility over Pitt v Balto on SNF

Week 17 - Jan 3rd no night games

On a tangent, the new broadcast rules are messing with the Thanksgiving day schedules. Second year in a row, no AFC teams represented in the games, so less interest from half the fan base.

    Philly @ Detroit PEEEEUUUUUUU!

Carolina @ Dallas - should watch

    Chicago @ GB - Meh

  6.

I wouldn't have it any other way

let me see if I can recall 20 + years back

The terrible two's, the troublesome three's, the furious four's, the frantic five's.. I used to have one for 6 & 7 but I have forgotten them

Then there is the teenage years.

  7.

He's right. I was there too. It was windy for a few hours before the game in the parking lot but it died down considerably by around 7:30. Inside the stadium there was basically no wind. I was 3 rows up from the field.

Still a legit question WRT being drunk ;)

We are talking MNF right? When Carpenter hit the post on the FG there was wind. Actually there was a bit of wind when Gostkowski missed too IIRC

  8. @AlbertBreer

Per source, NFL well along in process on Mexico City, trying to solve a logistics issue. If fixed, they'll play a mid-Nov. '16 game there.

Put the Cheaters in Mexico and make them eat salad with every meal.

Salads are rinsed with tap water. Montezuma's revenge.

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14220490/nfl-announces-matchups-three-london-games-next-season

The Washington Redskins could become the first team to play two NFL games in London in the same season, and in consecutive weeks.

So you think we are mediocre? Most of us would agree that we have top talent and top coaching but a tough schedule. Look at who we lost to (minus the Jags). I think you are underestimating our talent and, more importantly, our team.

That's funny, take a look at our record. Our record says who we are. Nice try though.

I think I'm seeing things... Are there two of you or are you arguing with yourself?

  10. Why can't you guys just admit that the Patriots are superior to the Bills in every way?

the Cheatriots are superior to the Bills in every way.

There I said it. Now if only the Refs would call an honest game ..... things might have been a little bit different over the years in close games.

  11. I think the Bills finish 5-1 to go 10-6

    Wins:

    KC, HOU, PHI, NYJ, DAL

    Loss:

    WSH

But I don't think it's crazy to see 6-0 there either.

say what? did you get free seeds in DC a few months back?

Lose to Dallas maybe. Lose to Washington? I'm planning on being there for that game. I might get luxury box seats from my neighbor.

If you go by Power Rankings, we get in losing to the Chiefs and winning out thereafter. Pittsburgh has a hard schedule an Houston is not going to keep pace. Feel slightly reassured we can still do this but as usual it comes down to taking care of business.

IMO the Power Rankings is the worst scenario because they have personal bias that affects the #'s.

Try Win % then eliminate the 2 or 3 ties Buffalo has and your in good shape

  12. A Lot of people crucified Sammy for saying "Throw me the damn ball" (not exact quote) and when they did the Bills crushed Miami.

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000587812/article/rex-bills-could-force-the-issue-to-target-watkins

"However, I think Sammy is such a talent that you can probably force the issue a little bit there. And obviously if there's one-on-ones across the board, then let's take our best shot. We'll throw up our best against your best and see what happens. Because I truly believe Sammy is that good."
