Big Turk Posted September 27, 2009 Share Posted September 27, 2009 I swear, as soon as I saw that ball deflect off Owens helmet or shoulder pads, I thought "There's an interception..." even though there was really no telling where the ball was going to land. Of course, being the Bills it just happened to deflect directly to a Saints player that happened to be in the one area of the field where no Bills player was within 5 yards of him. The second thought I had was if this had happened to Brees, the ball would have somehow found a way to either go way up in the air and land harmlessly between a bunch of Bills players or would have figured out a way to deflect towards the ground instead of up in the air. If this one play doesn't say it all as a Bills fan, I don't know what does...especially when your first reaction is "interception" when the ball is still way up in the air...
