Opps...

Dunno if any Bills FO people read these posts but gotta say, scuse me for complaining about not going after Jason Taylor when he was released from the Redskins, apparently they did pursue him according to this story.

The Buffalo Bills.

The Bills want to win. Now. Whether it’s because owner Ralph Wilson is feeling a Leon Hess-style sense of urgency or whether coach Dick Jauron feels a Rich Kotite-style sense of urgency or a combination of both, the Bills are going all in.

And a league source tells us that the Bills made a very aggressive play for defensive end Jason Taylor immediately after Taylor was cut in March by the Redskins. In fact, the Bills were the very first team to pursue Taylor.

I'm sure most fans like myself are hoping the front office peeps are doing their best but we don't always know whats going on. I"ll stop complaining about the O line for now in the hope that some of those 14 O linemen can get the job done once the footballs start flying in August. Perhaps they can still add an experienced tackle in free agency, considering 7 of those 14 have one year or less experience.

Dunno....how to spell the word oops. "Opps, erase erase" sounds like a line from Star Trek or something...

...and correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Joel Bell was 6'8, not 6'6.

First the Bills were criticized for signing expensive free agent O-linemen. Now we criticize them for bringing in too many young ones. At least we're consistant. Were do you think experienced veteran linemen come from?

Listen Rocketship 7 fan, it's not that they sign expensive FA's or that they sign inexpensive rookies or young players, its' that they have kept signing the wrong O-linemen since around the time Kent Hull & John Davis retired, or so.

I'm really hoping the signing of Hangartner & the drafting of Wood & Levitre will put and end to that ugly streak once and for all.

I agree. I'm hoping for the same. But it also seems like the "right" player, according to most posters, is a) whoever Kiper is hyping, or b) anyone just let go by some other team. And the right signing price is usually "whatever the player wants."
