I couldnt find the article but if it is true then I just turned sour on that pick. I hate nepitism, and if that is the reason we passed on Brown and the chance to have one fearsome pass rush I may just explode. I am mad enough that we draft 3 CBs every year, but that would just be too much. I hope it is not true and Byrd really is that good, but who knows. Can anyone confirm this? EDIT: I just found this link. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/story/651786.html Says Byrd's father and Fewell coached together in St. Louis. In that case this may be a better pick than I thought, with Fewell having some inside knowledge into this kids ability. Byrd says he knew him since he was a teenager. I think his dad coached with Fewell. They do know each other well though.
