San Jose Bills Fan Posted March 4, 2009 Share Posted March 4, 2009 For anyone who clicked the link and read the story, Karney might become expendable in New Orleans because they are interested in the top free agent fullbacks available...Heath Evans and Leonard Weaver. If you're simply looking for a blocker, Karney is a good pick up. Terrelle Smith is also available and is a top notch blocking fullback. Weaver and Evans are very good blockers who can also run and catch. I think Weaver might be this year's LeRon McClain. He's a real talent. Both Weaver and Evans are also good short yardage backs and could be used in our two-back sets. If we're gonna run some west coast offense, we should get a good fullback. If we can get him in, let him compete with McIntyre, and when he wins, we have a kamikaze to plow for Lynch, Jackson, Omon, Jones, Capt and Tenille... The Saints cut Karney just now, because they signed Heath Evans...a guy I thought the Bills should have brought in. Well, Leonard Weaver is still available.
