Why is it wrong to expect a playoff caliber team that went 16-0 last season to beat a medicore (at best) team in week 17 when the playoff calibre team is fighting for a playoff berth and the mediocre (at best) team is fighting to finish at 8-8? All losers before he got there. If a guy can turn losers into winners at three different places, i like his chances to do it here. His chances are better than some NEW "flavor of the Month" prospect. He has a proven record or winning. Playoffs in 13 out of 21 years as head coach. Sounds good to me. I know he has never won a SB. Who cares! I would rather make it to the playoffs 2 out of three years, and have a SHOT, than what we have had around here for the last 20 years.... Oh, and his Coaching tree looks pretty good to me, too.
