With the market at its lowest in 5 years (now maybe more, it's below 8000 currently), the highest unemployment in 16 years...etc., he leaves a miserable legacy that is a fitting punctuation mark to one of the most incompetent presidencies ever. However, on the upside, he DID fulfill one compaign promise: He has done for the US what he did for Texas - took something that was doing pretty well and ran it into the ground.
