Assumong the Peters situation gets resolved

It's likely going to be Whitner. Who else on the roster plays a more important role that doesn't already have a new contract? This is assuming Evans gets his new contract this year. I could see Whitner holding out before Lynch just because Lynch's contract is still much too young. Next year, Whitner will be entering his 4th year. And he's already held out once, so we can't automatically assume he won't do it again. And there's noone breathing down his neck to take his job. As soon as McGee or Greer hold-out, McKelvin takes their spot, assuming he already hasn't done so. 2nd string CBs loose their bargaining power. Edwards will not hold out. It's rare for QBs to have to hold out, teams just throw the money at them.

Or, if Stroud has a monster year....
