My favorite part.

Cpl. Andy Binder of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department has said that judges must decide what rules they want in their courtrooms, but that there were benefits to having armed plainclothes officers present, such as being able to respond to an attack.

That's what happened in 1992 when Kenneth M. Baumruk opened fire during his divorce hearing in Clayton. He fatally shot his wife and wounded four others before he was shot nine times by three police officers. Two were wearing plainclothes.
