Useless Stats.... Indy defensive ranking...

32nd against the rush. Like GB was 32nd vs. the pass. Almost every team has run successfully and thus I hope the bills can too. Problem is to this point we can not seem to bust a single run, which you would expect should happen once by accident.

Anyhow Indy is 3rd vs. the pass. Included are Vince Young's debut where he threw for all of 63 yards and has shown himself to be iffy at best. Another was Byron Leftwich, now benched. Admittedly Brady self destructed or was made to look lousy.

Eli Manning picked them apart the second half, Plummer was very efficient as was Pennington, Houston got some yards and Brunell did ok with a Washington offence that has blown hot and cold.

Also note they only have 11 sacks this season. Please don't tell me JP can't do something this week, even if it is in a high scoring loss.

Please Buffalo don't think you can't pass against this team.

I think one of the reasons the Indy Pass defense might be good is also that if Indy had a decent or big lead, then it lets this guys sit back and make plays knowing that the play is a pass. Another aspect might be is the gameplan for other teams might be to run the ball and control the clock and keep Peyton off the field for a maximum amount of time.

No way we should throw on this team. The Colts are built for pass defense, and INT's. They also have an offense built for big plays, and capitalizing on turnovers. It's a nasty formula. They get out to a quick lead forcing you to pass, a few minutes later 14-0 becomes 28-0. Everybody who's played the Colts has had success running directly at them. NE could have run all day and prevented Brady's INT's, instead the genius played right into Dungy's hands. We pound ATRAIN all day at the teeth of their defense, shortening the game, and improving our odds. It's our only chance.

No we play the game as they give us opportunities. We can do both. However if we are not running, we can't be afraid of the pass, especially short one's. They have one 11 sacks and their opposistion as in QB's have been mediocre.
