TPS Posted September 18, 2006 Share Posted September 18, 2006 He made a great play on his first catch to prevent the Miami defender from taking it to the house. The defender was trying to cut in front of Evans, but he basically boxed him out and made the catch. On the deep toss, it appeared to me he did something similar; he adjusted his speed to ensure that only he would have a play on the ball--keeping the defender on his back, and I think it was partly why the PI occured (the defender didn't slow down).
