Went to Bengals OTA Sat

Recommended Posts

Sam Adams was not on the field, but did show up for the VIP meet/great after the practice. A couple of the Bengal faithful were commenting on how big he is.

Dave Lapham (radio color commentator?) said that he would not be surprised if Carson Palmer would be the starting qb at the first game. Palmer is that far ahead in his recovery. Palmer will definitely will be at the start of training camp.

He is. Former B'gals lineman.

Adams didn't participate in any field work - "undisclosed reasons" :P

I heard he was cited at a local tattoo store getting "world largest pass rusher" tattooed on his butt cheek.

Somebody on TSW once described Sam as a "pass-rushing linebacker built like a rhino". :P

The club and the media here have been touting him as a "run stopper". ;)

Adams actually has been to the OTAs, BUT he wasn't on the playing field with the team. The undisclosed reason is that he is not conditioned to the satisfaction of the Head Coach. Marvin Lewis had Adams working with the Strength and Conditioning staff instead of working with the team.
