rockpile
Really. Between the radio, newspapers and the Wall, I have heard this word used to describe yesterday's game about a dozen or more times. Choose your own Webster definition: 1 : a tumultuous breakup of ice in a river 2 : a violent disruption (as of an army) : ROUT 3 a : a great disaster 3 b : a complete failure : FIASCO The tailgate was a great success yesterday, but the game? And that makes more sense because once debacle becomes loose, debelt gives way and depants come down, and public humiliation ensues. (Sorry, man. After that dressing down yesterday, this was the best I could do. Though I really thought the camera crew did a great job showing all the Patsy fans behind their team. Great stuff that was.)
