Of course I recognize that's easier said than done. With Miami probably making sweeping changes I'd circle back on Waddle and see if that's a viable option. Maybe check on Olave again if he and New Orleans can't come together on a deal. Or how about the wildest dreams ideas of AJ Brown or Justin Jefferson? Brown and Philly look headed for an inevitable separation. Minnesota might realize Jefferson is no help to them until they get a legit QB which a blockbuster deal could help them acquire. Some other name will be available that no one is talking about. Nobody thought Davante Adams or DK Metcalf would become trade candidates last year. There will be options. I broadly agree with this. Only note I’d have is that IMO Waddle is maybe a 1.5 at best, maybe just a 2 at this point. His last 3 years have been underwhelming. I’d still want a guy like Waddle or Addison, but only at a reasonable price and not a blockbuster price. If we’re giving up more than a first and a third, I think Olave or AJ Brown are about the minimum acceptable quality of target. Even those would be pushing it unless there are competing offers. Olave’s concussion history and Brown’s combo of attitude and age ding them both as assets. Quote
gobills404 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago He may not be a “true” or “elite” WR1 but I absolutely think you can have great passing attack with him as your best WR if you have another legit threat to draw some of the attention (Kincaid). Regardless he would be a huge upgrade over all of our current outside WRs and make the team much better. Quote
