ShakAttack Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago One of the most important things for the Bills to have a chance down the stretch requires that our pass rush is at LEAST capable of generating pressures again. Joey Bosa has been completely ineffective for 3 weeks due to his injured wrist. And Rousseau only seems to play well as a complementary pass rusher. Can someone explain to me how we are not better off letting Bosa sit out for 2-3 weeks and allow his wrist to heal a bit? If our best pass rusher is barely functional due to a bad wrist when the playoffs start, what's the point of making the playoffs at all? If we are going to have any chance, it would entail allowing our defense to get as healthy as possible. What am I missing? Unless this is a situation where a few weeks of rest won't do anything for Bosa's wrist, then I don't understand what we are doing here. He's not helping us in his current state. Quote

I'm just speculating but because the cast came off, I'm assuming he's getting closer to 100%. And it's something he can play through and be fine for the playoffs 1 Quote

The bolded is the correct sentence in your whole post. You don't understand what we are doing here. Because you don't have access to the medicals, you wouldn't have been in the doctor's visits. I'm betting you don't have access to his medical records either. This could be something that the medical staff has said won't get worse playing on it. In fact, as one poster pointed out, being the cast has come off it would suggest it's doing better. Quote

His pressure rate has dropped from Top 8 in the league to like 5.8% Hes clearly not right. We brought him here with a “plan” to keep him healthy and have him good for the playoffs. Thats now become Bosa playing a ton of snaps through injury. Clownshow. Quote

Were we there when they discussed this? Did I pull a Keon and miss a meeting? Quote

The FO and Bosa both have alluded to this. They then used him at an insane amount likely thinking they could rest him when Hoecht came back. Then Hoecht goes down. They keep using him at a high usage. Then he gets hurt, we scale him back a tiny bit with the wrist injury and he’s gone from a league leader in pressure to a JAG. If he’s not healthy for the playoffs, this pass rush is DOA. Quote
