Oh i won’t dispute why they hired Carrol, just that Raiders team wasn’t good what he inherited and latching on to Geno instead of waiting it out, keeping your picks and trying to have a potential rebuild of the program 2 or 3 years down the line seems smarter than what he decided. That to me would be about becoming serious. Not putting your eggs in the basket of a guy drafted 13 years ago who’s only had 2 decent and 1 average year. All of which were year 10 onward.
