Royale with Cheese Posted October 1 Posted October 1 "A D.C. police sergeant was arrested last night after he allegedly fled a traffic stop, crashed head-on into a car full of federal agents, & was found to have a machine gun in his vehicle. But why were the feds trying to pull over a cop in the first place? The incident began when federal & local law enforcement tried to stop a Chevy Camaro driven by MPD Sgt. Montez Clark, 27, for a minor equipment violation. Instead of stopping, Clark allegedly fled, leading to a chase that ended when he collided with a car carrying three Diplomatic Security Service agents. After the crash, officers searched the sergeant's car & found a terrifying arsenal. The cache included two Glocks—one illegally converted into a fully automatic machine gun with a "switch"—plus unregistered ammunition & high-capacity magazines. Sgt. Clark has been placed on administrative leave. He & two passengers were arrested. Clark faces a slew of charges, including assault on a federal officer, fleeing, & possession of a machine gun." 1
