Dagnabit if you don’t seem smitten by the lady.  Perhaps consider asking for her number?  I’m not certain of your chances, but I’d bet at a minimum you get an interesting retrospective on traditional gender specific cultural mores, the patriarchy and it’s role in shaping homogenized agrarian economic theory vis a vis the Zollverein treaties of 1800s Germany.

However, he did not thank President Donald Trump for coming to Michigan to promote the act. And that’s because Trump did not go to Barrett’s district over the recess, just as he didn’t pitch the legislation in Wisconsin, Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia or any other state, battleground or otherwise.

In the more than 10 weeks since signing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act into law, President Donald Trump has not hit the hustings to try to sell this agenda to voters at all.

Nothing focuses attention — and potentially sways voters — quite like a president traveling into a state to tout his party’s policies. His allies are careful not to criticize Trump’s tactics, but some staunch supporters are giving gentle nudges that they would like to see Air Force One moving around more often.

“We’d welcome him in Wyoming. I’d welcome him to go to many more states to talk about the advantages the American people are seeing,” Senate GOP Whip John Barrasso (Wyoming) said Wednesday. “There’s so many good things in this [legislation] that a lot of people aren’t aware of how many good things are in there.”

Trump’s last departure from Washington to discuss domestic policy came on July 15, when he made a 30-minute appearance in Pittsburgh that focused on promoting energy production and AI technology.
