I see your point, and it’s a good one…

 

But there is literally no need for these tests he’s calling for. Weren’t we just hearing about all that wasteful government spending?  I’m no expert, but a quick search shows each test is about $100 million. We can’t think of better ways to put what will easily amount to billions of dollars to use for the American people, than testing weapons we have no business ever using because nobody wins a nuclear war?

 

What we need is leadership who advocates for decommissioning nuclear weapons on a global scale, not nuclear proliferation. He sure has a funny way of trying to win peace prizes…
