He is an excellent player and i think he has been one of the best players at any position in the league for the past few years. That being said, are you surprised some team has not taken a chance on him because the risk/reward could be incredible. Do you think it is his ego and salary demands getting in the way? Rumor has it the Jets are in the mix for him. Would be awful to deal with him for another few years if he is back at even 80% of the player he was. Would you really want to give up close to 9 million for a player that may or may not be back to full speed come the start of the season. If I was a GM/Owner I would sooner take that 9 mil and head to the casino....... Maybe thats why NE didnt keep him they blew his salary at Foxwoods!
