Astro's 2017 Draft-Eligible TEs:

We are likely going to draft a TE on Day 3. Clay was better in Miami. He's shown he's a willing blocker. O'Leary has shown up in the last 2 losses.

How early would you put TE on the shopping list? Remember, right now we don't have a 4th Rounder. Here's a recent scenario.

Round 1, Pick 19
Round 2, Pick 19
Round 3, Pick 19
Round 5, Pick 19
Round 5, Pick 30
Round 6, Pick 19
Round 6, Pick 37

I'm a big fan of Orndoff from Pitt. I would love to take him in the 3rd or later.

The timing would be right. My "What-If" is OJ Howard in the first. WAY too early if we have no SS or QB in place, but the FA market is really rich in the Safeties. If the Bills don't go QB at #10, I could see nabbing OJ Howard. I like Engram and Orndoff, and for a clutch pass catching TE, I like Cole Hikutini.

I want OJ Howard in the 1st for sure.

Good day, Yolo! I'm drinking the OJ Kool-Aid, as well. He ran a 4.51 at 20 lbs more than the top WRs. He's still there in the most recent Drafttek mock: http://www.drafttek.com/2017-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round1.asp

FYI, WR Ross, Jonathan Allen, Solomon Thomas, Quincy Wilson, Jabrill Peppers, and Marlon Humphrey were still on the board.
