Secondary targets and the Domino Effect

Recommended Posts

I'm noticing that Wimbley, Laurent Robinson, Mario Manningham, Brandon Lloyd, and others haven't signed.

I believe in some cases that the secondary targets with a few exceptions are waiting for the big fish to sign and establish the market.

I'm wondering to myself who at OneBillsDrive is working the phones and lining up visits. I don't believe that the decision makers are sitting on their hands keeping vigil on Mario Williams.

Certainly because he's still there he is being attended to but I'm certain that there are wheels turning in another room.

If the worst were to happen, don't the Bills simply re-allocate the money they had set aside for their primary targets and go after secondary targets?

When the smoke clears on this week, who will the Bills have in the fold?

edit: In fact, shouldn't the Bills be announcing another wide receiver visit sometime this morning?

edit: Mods, feel free to merge… this is somewhat redundant to the wide/receiver plan B topic although my thought was beyond just wide receivers.

Or modify the title to the other topic and merge.

Good morning, all.
