I like the early stuff: Out of our heads, Aftermath, 12X 5 and The rolling stones Now!

Now that is the stones. I'd love to see them play tunes off of those albums. They won't because nobody will recognize them.

Mick needs to wip out the harp more, like Keith says he very good at it.

Yeah, I pretty much love everything from 1963-1981, after that, pretty spotty. I tried making a 90 minute "best of" mix-tape of the stuff after that, once upon a time...it was much more difficult than I anticipated...ended up being 45 minutes, mostly Keith's tracks from those albums.

Speaking of which, saw this piece on Jagger working on a new "supergroup" project, fallout from Keith's book, it seems?

Almost forgot about Keiths' "Mein Kampf" reference to Jaggers first solo album, "She's the Boss":

I've never listened to [it] the whole way through. Who has? It's like Mein Kampf. Everybody had a copy, but nobody listened to it.

I love those early albums too...they hadn't quite developed their own sound yet, and were copping more of a limey blues band thing...good stuff though...Brian Jones hay-day...for you, the Wolfmans' "Little Red Rooster" as done by the Stones, 1965:
