We might as well replace them all with DB's. It seems that the DB's are currently making all the tackles, 10 to 20 yards down field , now. We can't do worse, and who knows, 9 DB's might do better. Dr. Fong Posted October 11, 2010 Share Posted October 11, 2010 I've never been a fan of the 3-4 defense, but to make matters worse for the Bills they've had years of a defensive philosophy that values mobility over size in its players to a ludicrous degree. That is the perfect recipe for a disastrous switch to a 3-4, the results of which we are seeing now. I was hoping against hope that I was being too pessimistic about this switch, but I guess not.
