Sisyphean Bills Posted August 30, 2010 Share Posted August 30, 2010 Nix was in San Diego for almost a decade. Green was on the Raiders for three years. The Chargers play the Raiders twice a year. Besides his familiarity from being in the same division, Nix watched hundreds if not thousands of plays from Green's career before signing him. Think about that for awhile before you consider your "scouting report" more accurate than Buddy's. Cornell Green had 10 starts the one season he was with the Raiders while Buddy Nix was in San Diego. Well, if that's the case why don't we pick up the phone and call Brad Butler? Frankly, the long and the short of it is that the guy was considered a team leader when he went down last year and was a very underrated right tackle who was starting to get his due around the league. Brad, be active in politics all you want, be here's 5 million bucks to come back to the right side of our line for just one year and possibly (POSSIBLY mind you) see the playoffs for the only time in your career.
