My girlfriend used my computer to order some Christmas gifts now everytime I open anything it is in a small window and needs to be maximized. I've tried, help.

Install and use Firefox or Mozilla. No, really, I'm not kidding.

I prefer Mozilla, some prefer Firefox. Both are lightyears ahead of IE in terms of functionality and more importantly, security.

try each of these one method should work

 

 

1/ Maximize the window, then hold down the control button and close the window. In most cases the window will then open maximumized by default.

 

 

2/drag the corners of the window to fill the screen and only then click on the maximize button. Close IE, and when you start it again you should be all set.

take your cursor and stretch the window to the size you want dont maximize it but use the cursor to stretch it and then hit the 'x' it will work
