zow2 Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 It was just a few short years ago when the New Orleans Saints were on everybody's short list for relocating (and this was even before Katrina!). After Katrina, it was even more likely that they would be headed elsewhere. The city was in shambles, games were being farmed out elsewhere, revenue for the team could not have been high. Then they get Drew Brees and some nice draft picks plus F/A pickups and Wala!, they are a WINNER! everybody loves a winner and winner's don't relocate. Loser's relocate. I'm really happy for the Saints and their fans but WOW, we totally replaced them at the top of every bad list. It's amazing how when you win, the owner is called eccentric and just having fun.
