Peace Frog
I have 1 GFI outlet in my garage and want to add 2 more on each of the adjacent walls (1 each). My breaker panel is in the garage so the wiring itself won't be a problem. My question is: can I hook up the other 2 outlets to the existing breaker? Frez
When installed correctly, a "GFI outlet" will protect all the outlets "down line"on the same wiring circuit.

Place the GFI as your 1st receptacle in the circuit. If you draw to much current down line it will still trip your 1st GFI. Extra GFI receptacles would be over killl and more expensive. Make sure you read and understand the wiring of a GFI receptacle. Incorrect installation will render the GFI useless. It isn't difficult, just triple check the included wiring info.
