Head Coach Top 3 wish list

A guy who got lucky with that #12 pick to pick #7,his franchise QB...

A guy who was going to cut Jerome Bettis before Bettis faked a injury enroute to a super bowl.

A guy who got lucky with an undrafted FA Running Back.

Let us not get carried away...Bill Cowher has made many personnel blunders.....He still would need a good VP of Operations guy like a Kevin Colbert to succeed....

What Cowher brings to the team as a coach is ENERGY....He has a tough camp and prepares his team mentally for the game....

Lucky to pick #7? Then I guess the Vikings were lucky to pick #28.

Bettis? He may have been an emotional spark, but 368 regular season yards and 43

in the SB doesn't mean without him they would not have won.

All personnel guys make mistakes. It was quoted on 97 Rock this morning that some

NFL guy said if you hit .400 on your personnel decisions, you've done well.

Cowher would bring energy to this club, game management skills, good personnel decisions

and let's not forget other players in the league would want to play for him when it comes to FA.

The end all is, if Ralph doesn't spend the money, we could have the very best coach at every position

and it wouldn't matter.

1.) the firing of John Guy and Tom Modrak

2.) the hiring of a real, PROVEN, football GM

3.) letting the GM hire whomever he wants to coach.

Those are my top 3.

You have it in wrong order:

1.) the hiring of a real, PROVEN, football President capable of being GM

2.) Let GM determine if keeping, demand for resignation, firing, or reassignment of Russ Brandon, John Guy and Tom Modrak is necessary. Let the person in charge make the call if you are putting them in charge.

3.) Letting the GM hire whomever he wants to coach.
