R. Rich Posted November 18, 2004 Share Posted November 18, 2004 Are you looking at Roth as a potential starter at DE, or as a special teamer? As a starter, he's a lot like Schobel in that he is a hard worker with good speed but limited rush moves and not a lot of size (converted LB). Still, he did a number on Penn State when they beat them 6-4 a few weeks ago and he does have pretty decent strength despite not having great NFL size. He may very well be worth a look, but I still hope and pray that we use our 2nd and maybe even our 3rd round picks on offensive linemen.
