  1. The fanbase is tops in the league. If they can put together a good roster and start making the playoffs, the Bills will thrive and there will be a surge in dollars spent by the fans. The fans are just damn good and too damn loyal to rip this team away from the city and region. It would crush the spirit and soul of Buffalo.

  2. I've seen Evans make tough catches over the middle of the field. His strengths are making catches deep and along the sidelines, which is why they use him there the most. But he's made plenty of plays underneath and over the middle. He's a great receiver.

I understand the logic that we should trade him now while he's "worth something" because by the time we're a good team, he'll be ready to retire. But that would hamper our offense, not to mention we wouldn't get fair market value.

He's a great player and worth every penny IMO. It's also well-documented that he is the hardest worker in camp and practice. Never complains, no diva attitude. He just shows up and works hard. He's a model football player and we're lucky to have him.

  3. There is no way I enter the draft with any posibility of a NFL player strike.

I would be out of football for one full year, maybe 2.No money and too much uncertainy.

I have great teamamtes at Stanford and I don't sit at home while my senior classmates play.

Sorry, its the same deal for any Junior QB in this years draft.

    The Pros can wait!!

Good points, I think you're right. Coach Harbaugh will tell him the same thing. Sucks for us though. I think he's the absolute cream of the crop and the Bills appear to be going QB early in the next draft. I'm not sold on anyone else at QB yet.

  4. John Wawrow,

Thanks for posting here your Bill news, I love reading it. You do a great job and you're and invaluable resource for us. I thoroughly enjoyed you on WGR today. Your positive speculation that there's a succession plan in the works and that the Bills will remain in Buffalo fills me with hope and optimism.

As for the knuckleheads on here, just ignore them, they're idiots.

You do a great job. Just keep doing what you're doing.

  5. A 69% completion ratio and 170 QB rating = 'stuggling'?

You need to stop reading (and quoting) scouting reports, and start looking at stats and watching these guys play.

He rolls out and moves too much. I don't like his footwork and that concerns me. WHen you look at stats, they can be misldeading. This is just my humble opinion, it's not the definitive final word on Mallett.

  6. In what little was said by Ralph, he did say the right things. He's asking for us to continue to be patient, accepted responsibility for the state of the Bills and is willing to do what it takes to build a winner.

Ralph's not perfect but he does care about his team and their success. Yeah, he turns a profit, but he should, he owns an NFL team. He wants a winner and I have no doubt his dying wish would be to see this team hoist the Lombardi trophy.

Its been hard for us Bills fans and this is certainly a low point for us. But we have to keep the faith and Billieve. We will eventually turn it around and succeed. We're gonna hit rock bottom and then build through the draft.

We've just gotta hold on a little longer.

  7. There's absolutely no pass rush or pressure. This immediately, directly and greatly impacts the secondary. Bryd is also playing hurt. He's more hurt then he's letting on. The hernia and groin injuries are lingering and he's trying to play through them.
