  1. He's coming back from a catastrophic knee injury. He gets a pass for the entire season. After having his leg snapped in half he's lucky to even be able to play football. He'll get more comfortable and stronger. It just needs time.

  2. The plan is pretty much cristal clear to me......

    - Get rid of the non performers....for WHATEVER we can get

    - Work your way to the top of the draft board

    - Figure out who are gamers and who are not

Next to go should be McCargo and Whitner

I'm on board with the purge too but I'm absolutely mystified as to why they're not purging Kelsay. Rather, they gave him a sizable contract extension. I continue to be baffled by this and struggle with it. He's old, under-performs, has no idea what he's doing, and has no business even starting on any NFL team.

  3. I've never seen so many leave that early before. It was so bad, the stadium was half empty by the time the 4th started. The guy in front of me got up half way through the 3rd and said these exact words: "I don't need this."

Couldn't agree with him more. We don't deserve this crap.

For the record, I left with 9 minutes to go in the 4th.

  4. Schobel did not collect his $2M roster bonus in March or his $8.2M salary for the season.

Cutting Edwards saves the Bills $1.35M this season.

That is a total of $11.5M extra to Ralph's bottom line for this year. Pretty big money in my book.

Add in the $78M that Ralph got for playing one game per year in Toronto and you would expect all this extra money to be reinvested in some marquee players...

    Right?

Can't wait to see how all this extra money is going to be spent <_<

+ 24 million for Kelsay. :wallbash:

  5. 1. Bryd had 9 INTs in like 10 games. Hardly a fluke. Rather, that's consistency and he rightly made the Pro Bowl.

    2. He's playing hurt. Very hurt. He's got an injured groin that is hampering him. He's a tough guy, he played hurt last year too.

    3. They're easing him back into it and he's gotta get his legs under him and comfortable due to his injury and missed time in camp.

    4. A Free Safety is a range player. You lose some of your range when you have an injured groin. It's a simple as that.

    5. QBs are more cautious of him and his knack for INTs.

    6. The absolute lack of a pass rush has a direct and adverse impact on DBs and the turnovers they generate, or lack thereof.

    Overrated? No.

Best defensive player on our team? Yes.

  6. He's been an overpaid under-performer for years. How he hasn't been cut yet is beyond me. I know his teammates love him and he's a high-character, good leader. But he's on-field performance leave much to be desired. And he's looked awful and out of place as a 3-4 OLB.

    :wallbash:
