  1. Sorry if this is posted already but I did a search and didn't see it.

The article outlines how in last couple of weeks the Jets O-line is really coming together to protect Sanchez and give Greene and LT some running room. After the way the Bills played against a terrible line in Toronto, I'm thinking this will be a good test to see if they're actually improving. I know we would all love to see Dareus have another huge game!

    From the article...

The offensive line will always be the backbone of “Rex Ryan Football,” the grind-it-out, mauling style that Gang Green was missing in the first month of the season.

For all the preseason chatter about the Jets’ promising aerial attack, Ryan & Co. have returned to their ground-and-pound roots thanks to a reenergized line that has found its way after a shaky start.

    ....

The line has been solid during the Jets’ two-game winning streak, limiting hits on Mark Sanchez and creating open spaces for Shonn Greene, who has come alive after a slow start.

“I feel really good about where we’re at,” Ryan said. “As an offense, I feel like we’re at our best right now. This should be the best our offense has looked and it kind of feels that way. We’re back to running the ball better. We’re protecting the quarterback.”

On a side note, I'm hoping to be at the game and have not had success getting tickets yet so may have to go the scalping route.

  2. I know there are numerous sites where I can pay hundreds of dollars but I'm wondering if anyone can help out a fellow fan. I'm looking to spend less than $80-90 per ticket for two tickets together. I have to be in Buffalo area for work unexpectedly next week and am thinking that I should probably go a couple days early for the game.

    Thanks in advance!

  3. It was said somewhere that Seattle offered a 4th round pick for him. We balked and they turned their attention towards Lendale White. I wouldn't let Lynch go for anything less than a 2nd.

I have to agree. He's still young and he's a strong smash mouth up the middle type of runner who will compliment Spiller. The simple fact is that Fred Jackson (who' great IMO), is going to be getting old quick (he's 29) so it will be nice to have the one-two punch of Spiller and Lynch for years to come. Unless, that is, we can get a good offer for Lynch

  4. Hey, I'm coming to B'Lo for the NCAA tournament tomorrow. I've only been to the HSBC Arena once before for a Sabres game. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good bar to get a few beers and some wings in between the games that's close to the arena? I was looking at the Pearl Street Brewery but am open to all suggestions.

Oh, on a side, my buddy and I won't be able to go to the Sunday games (Session 3) and he's trying to sell the tickets. I believe he's asking $300 for the pair (section 302, row 12). So if anyone is interested we can meet you somewhere...

    Thanks and go 'Cuse.

  5. This has been irking me for a while and I wanted to share my frustration with you guys. So the Bills Backers of Albany meet up and watch games at a sports bar in Clifton Park (which is like 30 minutes north of Albany). I'm just wondering why this is. I live in Downtown Albany and I could never see myself driving up to Clifton Park for the games (especially given the fact that I would probably be drowning my sorrows with a few Blue Lights). Why does the Bills Backers of "Albany" meet up in CP? I, for one, usually watch the games at Legends on Lark St. It hink it may be time for a "real" Bills Backers of Albany.

  6. You're an orthopedic surgeon with direct knowledge of the situation?

No, I'm not an orthopedic surgeon and no, I haven't seen his xrays or know the extent of the fracture but I know from my own experience that a fractured fibula typically takes 6 weeks or so for recovery.

  7. This is freaking silly! I know he has a fractured bone in his leg or whatever but he should be ready to go in 7 or 8 weeks, right? I thought it was stupid when the put Poz on IR his rookie year, when he could have played with like 7 weeks left in the season. This is a major bummer...
