Nelson had a concussion earlier in the year? I don't remember that. I just hope it isn't a chronic problem for either of them.

Probably the worst injury for a football player to have bc it is by far the most career threatening. Nelson and Edwards both have one. Any news on the severity of either of them? I'm very bummed to hear about Nelson's injury as I'm hoping he will be a long term solution at TE.

Wow. I'm very happy for the players and fans BUT, My sole problem with this game is that it was TERRIBLY played by both teams. As I said, I'm extremely happy for the players for winning...they deserve it. Even though I think this game was poorly coached, I'm happy Jauron won too (though did you see how much he lacked excitement on the sidelines)?, the Bills players showed heart and resilience. That being said, my worry is that this will be yet another smoke screen that Ralph, Russ and co. will hide behind. Despite the victory, it was very clear that the Bills lack 3 key things that every successful winning team needs: 1) A good, physical front 7 on defense 2) A strong O-Line (I think the Bills will make some strides in this area, and at least from what I saw, Meredith outplayed Bell) 3) A good QB. Fitz showed guts w/ his throws, but jesus the guy has no arm. So long as Brandon and Ralph will look at this game and say "we are capable of winning, but changes are needed" instead of saying "we won and Jauron proved the doubters wrong", I am happy. But if this (like the Bills 5-1 start last year) just keeps the Bills in the purgatory of mediocrity, I am skeptical of these meaningless wins.

And we can say what we want about the linebackers, the Bills defense has been solid in every game except Miami. If our offense was even SLIGHTLY adequate, we would have won a few more games. Fitzpatrick is not good.

You would hope Jauron would tell the officials that Sanchez can't try and head fake the opposing team into an offsides. But of course he would rather look stoic and think it out.

Fitz is a poor man's TE. Is Garcia still a FA? If so, I hope Brandon is on the phone with him.

You don't trade TO for less than a 3rd rounder IMO. Not sure if that will happen though.

You should know that the Bills do not call plays that involve the receivers running beyond the 1st down marker on 3rd and long. The key is to throw it to Evans when he is 5 yards short.

Bills are just getting ready for their usual run towards the 7-9 season. That way they can "end the season on a high note", Dick will keep his job, Edwards will remain QB, we can draft a WR/DB/TE with our first round pick next year and then we can do the same dance in 2010. !

The guy looks good on tape, no doubt about it. That being said, there is a very good reason he was drafted in the 5th round and placed on the practice squad. That reason being: HE IS NOT READY YET! I'm excited to give these guys experience, but its going to be gruesome to watch. And against Ryan's Jets!? I think Trent has been downright awful this year, but his one excuse, and it is a very good excuse, is that the OL is TERRIBLE. The poor guy has been running for his life/career just about every other snap in passing situations. I would not be surprised in the least bit if Fitz sees time next Sunday. And I don't say that because Edwards is going to be removed from the game. I say that because Edwards is going to get his face blown off.

Bills playing in the AFC east is like if the royals playedin the AL East. It just isn't fair unless we get a competent FO/Coach.

ESPN Sunday Countdown says he is definitely coming back next year. He would be a good fit if Ralph figures out that coaches in this decade demand to be paid more than coaches 25 years ago.
