Do you all think this is just how the cards fell - or did the league think it would be more memorable to have a night game in wintery Buffalo?

It's really hard to tell if it helps us.  It definitely would have helped against the Chargers, but it's not like NE isn't used to weather.   The only advantage is that Jones is from the SEC and I doubt he has played in this kind of cold yet.

The NFL schedule makers are jerks who don't look at the 10 day forecasts at home stadiums in the playoffs. Why else would you schedule the Bills at home, mid January at 8:15 at night, and have the Brady Buccaneers playing at 1:00 on Sunday.

They always talk about player safety, but they have no concern towards the fans who wish to be in the stands for a playoff game for the first time in more than 25 years.

    Morons!

With color commentators, less is more.  Some of them talk too much and wander off into minutia and are actually a distraction when watching the game.  Having lived in different parts of the country, I've listened to a number of local radio color commentators who were beyond terrible.  A couple of them were Ron Wolfley (Cards) and Wil Wolford (Colts).  After listening to them, I appreciated the national media guys a little more.  Many of them are trying to find the right balance of contribution to keep new/less knowledgeable fans engaged without annoying knowledgeable fans.  Sadly, most of them provide too much distraction.

Driving home from the game, I often listen to Sirius radio broadcasts of NFL games. And I agree, many are terrible at best, and homers all the time. (We gotta do this, that, other things). About the best of the bunch was the Raiders crew.

  3. I think the most important aspect of the game is the director. TV has the incessant tv show promos mid-play that makes any color persons' job difficult. A play occurs which has you scratching your head, and often a replay is shown on the next series, instead of immediately following the play.

It could be worse. I was watching a Syracuse basketball game and there were 2 color commentators without a play by play man. What a cluster!

Andre Roberts: 27.5 yards per kickoff return, 1 TD (#2 overall in NFL)

Isaiah Mckenzie: 24.3 yards per kickoff return, 0 TD

Imagine what McKenzie's average would be if Andre Smith didn't get a penalty on almost every return in the first 2/3 of the season. It would have been comical if it were for any other team.

He’s not a starting DT, only reason he has ever started was as an injury replacement.  He’s been largely a non factor in the time he’s been in the league.  Nobody is paying him big money, Bills included.

Do you stutter all the time?

There was an option to chose automatic or not at the beginning of the season (actually I think automatic was the default and you had to opt out).

Correct. If you go to the account manager on the website, it will show that your payment will occur on Jan. 15th. If it doesn't, call your rep.
