  1. Completely agree. It's like deja vu. Jauron tells the media that it's his fault the team isn't playing well, followed up by players defending their coach and telling everyone they're angry and it's their responsibility. It truly is a never ending nightmare.
  2. It's amazing how history repeats itself.
  3. Haha! Looks like Langston just visited Oakland today... http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=349578
  4. That's exactly what I thought when I read that. Everyone is so negative and thinks that the ownership just can't get it done. Then all of a sudden a new coaching staff and philosophy are inserted and they have their self a winning team.

Wow, how has Ralph let this go on for so long... New additions since I first posted: ESPN - Tim Graham: Getting 97 Percent to Agree Ain't Easy
  6. Unfortunately he regressed under Dick Jauron, as we have now started to see with Trent. I'm thinking it's only going to get worse.
  7. Thursday October 8th at 9 pm EST on Versus. http://www.ufl-football.com/schedule Can't wait to see that fluorescent wearing ballerina chuck long balls again.
  8. This is why I said I'm not sure why I care. You're right, in the end we're not going to win with this staff and this philosophy. I still would like to see Langston back here just to save Lynch, Jackson, and Edwards from getting destroyed every game though.
  9. So you're defending Parker. The antichrist. One of the reasons why I hate high paid athletes. Yeah you know what, Parker does work for Crabtree. Just like he worked for Peters, Steven Jackson, Devin Hester, and Larry Fitzgerald. He does it his way. And that is to hold each team hostage. Players salaries are so high now, the league can't sustain the growth. There will be a holdout soon, and it's because of guys like this scumbag that greed has consumed the sport. Players don't care as much about the team anymore, and the teams don't respect them back. This is why you don't have many players remaining on one team for their career. Don't tell me it's not Parker's fault.
  10. I really hope that Crabtree forces the signing today for the original contract offer from San Fran. That douche bag Parker will take a huge hit in the next draft when no player wants to sign with him and no owner wants to draft a guy represented by him. That would make my day.
  11. With Bell back at LT and Walker at RT, we have at least a short term solution. But no doubt, we need to draft a big OT or sign a free agent OT in the offseason.
  12. Man I hope that's not true. But I'm not shocked by any of the ignorance of this Dick Jauron run team anymore. Langston was more than solid at RT for us last year, and there's no reason he shouldn't be here starting ahead of Scott anyways. They're morons if they don't make that move.
  13. It was an idiotic move in the first place to cut Walker given our lack of depth to begin the season. Now I think it's time to swallow your pride (Jauron) and bring him back. Edwards knees depend on it. (Not sure why I care anymore.)
  14. Wow, the Raiders are not looking good right now. In my mind, they are the best candidate to move to LA. That would restore them to their former location, and bring back the Raiders vs. Chargers rivalry in full effect. The fanbase is weak in Oakland from what I hear, and most of their true fans remain in the LA area.
  15. I agree 90%. I kind of like Russ Brandon, and I believe that he hasn't been able to make the decisions he's wanted to make (firing Turk and Jauron after last season). But Modrak, Overdorf, and Guy have all been employed far too long. Let Russ bring in a new head coach, and they can come up with a plan together on who they need to employ at One Bills Drive. (Although, it wouldn't kill me if we just completely cleaned house.)
  16. Who cares, the price tag for success is limitless. I agree that big money doesn't always equal wins, but this team needs a spark. they have many of the pieces they need to win some ball games. The coaching staff continues to be the issue.
  17. Agree on all fronts. The common denominator in Schwartz and McDaniels success is their countless hours in the film room. Both of them started their careers analyzing film for their respective head coaches, and that work ethic has translated to success on a larger scale. McDaniels success on defense can also be attributed to the hiring of Mike Nolan, who has those guys prepared every week to demoralize opponents. We can only wish something like this happens to the Bills soon.
  18. When a team shakes things up and removes an entire coaching staff and starts over, it can do wonders for the fan base. Many of these teams have been losing for quite a while now, and have turned things around. But it can't be just any coach, or any staff. It needs to be carefully thought out, and things need to happen THE WAY THE NEW HEAD COACH WANTS IT TO without any interference from the owner on staffing decisions and player roster positions. The Bills could benefit greatly from a big move like this. However, Ralph needs to keep his paws off of the new head coaches system. No more "draft this guy" or "cut this guy" or "hire this position coach from within" BS. If we bring in a guy like Cowher, he needs to call the shots. I'm even somewhat envious of the Lions, Chiefs, and Rams. Right now, they're terrible teams. BUT, they've got good coaches in place and they're heading in the right direction. Next year I think we'll all see the results of the changes those organizations made. First step, remove the cancer (Jauron)...
  19. I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if Jauron tried that.
  20. Well, if you're the Packers you take every chance you can to get into field goal range and get a score on the board before half time. Now they weren't successful, but they sure as hell tried. It was fun to watch too. If your the Bills? Get one play off and run the clock out, run safely to the locker room uninjured. WTF!?!?!?!?!? How many times can we watch this pathetic coach tuck his tail between his legs and lose in an embarrassing fashion. Jauron is killing me every time I watch my beloved Bills take the field. Ralph needs to do the right thing here and get rid of him before there is a full on riot.
  21. My big issue here is that Trent needs to recognize different coverages and take advantage of what each coverage gives you. For example, we had two young CB's covering Lee and TO yesterday in man-to-man press coverage. One FS deep and the SS in the box to stop the run and short passes in the flats. What does that mean? They'll be all over short routes like outs, screens, slants, etc. So, to combat that as a QB you need to have WR's run double move routes like the out-and-up or hitch-and-go. If Trent pump fakes that out pattern to Lee, he would have gotten Davis to bite on it and have Lee streaking up the field wide open. What else can you do with press coverage? Line up triple WR's to either side and run pick plays freeing up our guys underneath or over the top. Didn't see any of that yesterday either. The pattern I'm seeing is Trent not recognizing coverages and adjusting, and the coaches not recognizing ways to get their offense in a successful situation. The "vanilla offense" is pretty apparent. You don't need a thousand plays to beat teams either. You just need a small set of plays that you can run in different ways to beat specific coverages the defense is giving you.
  22. That is some good stuff right there.
  23. Pardon me while I step outside of the herd of sheep, but I think that entire list you just posted has to do with the way this team has been managed. Ralph Wilson hired Dick Jauron (with the help of Levy). Dick Jauron then influenced all personnel decisions. The organization with Jauron at the helm (not Russ Brandon, make no mistake) chose to revamp the offensive line completely in one offseason, not draft or sign a replacement tackle, fire the offensive coordinator, and then field this pieced together offense. And game after game continues to make decisions that baffle the fans, former players, opponents, and opposing fans alike. YET, the organization is still intact AND Dick Jauron is still the coach. I'm confused.
