Thanx some bills fan you are.I guess i must be the only real bills fan on here willing to defend us wether we suck are not.
You can still be a fan and realize that we suck.
Green Bay is making a run at the super bowl. We're rebuilding and trying out a lot of young players. To argue that we are even close to Green Bay is nothing but blind fanaticism.
-
If you leave it the way it is, yes.
If you go to Home Depot right now and buy the materials to make several home-made asterisks to put on your car, no. In fact, you can become a better Bills fan if you put the asterisks on your car.

the airmchair scout's work is never done. Jake
Locker and Washington are being shown on ABC - at least here in WNY
Christian Ponder and FSU are also playing on ESPNU right now.

i can't even watch it....gives me the willies big time....
I'm almost in the same boat as you. That freaked me the hell out, and it's only a video.
The physical act of climbing it? No problem. Getting me more than 30 feet off of the ground with no safety harness? Not a chance in hell.
-
Give us the gory details .... hopefully you heal quickly.
I work in a candy packaging Factory. We get bulk product from various companies, and package it into the nice bags/ tubs you see in the store. I'm the line operator for whatever big line we run on any given night. (Usually have 8-10 people working for me.)
Last night I had to run 8 different orders, mainly almonds and pecans. Since we had so many changeovers, my workers were to busy too take the full cardboard cart back to the baler. So I took it back and grab a new one.
Get it all the way back to line, and start to line it up against the wall. I go to make the final turn and the handle snaps. The handle snaps up towards a metal bar on the side. Unfortunately my finger was in between the bar and handle.
It smashed my fingernail, and made my finger swell up twice the normal size. My fingernail turned black, and had to get a splint on it last night. Still hurts like a son of a b*tch though.

I broke my finger at work today. Ouch.

I don't think it's penalizing them at all when you've already bailed them out by wiping the game winning TD off the board. If they held up and were in position to decline the penalty, then sure the game's over. But if they need to accept the penalty to save their bacon, they've already been adequately rewarded by the flag and should at least have to make a legitimate stop at the end so the last play of the game at least actually counts.
What about a situation where the penalty blatantly allowed the offense to score?
Say a WR tackles the DB before making the game winning catch. Your rule would allow the offense to undeservedly take another shot.
I think the rule is fine as is.
-
Hmmm. Am I missing something? The Redskins just started their season playing the Cowboys around 820 pm. And yet you are already declaring them a resounding success? Seems a bit premature.
well to be fair, they have scored 3 points after the first quarter. Unlike the Bills, who... scored 3 points after the first quarter.
-
Yes you are confused. If the WR has a chance to look around he has completed the catch and made a second act. WR's must make a football move or control the ball all the way to the ground for it to be a catch. If Santonio Holmes had dropped or even bobbled the ball in the Superbowl it would have been reversed.
That's the point. He turned in air, and landed on his feet. He then falls to his knee and elbow while still controlling the ball. After that he raises the spike it and it falls out.
Clearly a catch.
-
Equally awful call in the ARI-STL game.
Tim Hightower (ARI RB) run up the middle, gets tackled, and lands shoulder first. Ball clearly pops out after his should hits the turf, yet after review, they still call it a fumble.
Now STL has a chance to steal the game at the end.

I see a rainbow

Well, he's out with a concussion, so actually you wouldn't.
I would take Kolb with a concussion 2 amputations and good case of syphilis over Trent at this point.
-
Not to defend the Jets, but what did they think was going to happen with this strutting around the sideline.
-
-
So he catches it, turns in air, gets two feet down, a knee down, and an elbow down before the ball comes out. But it's still no catch? What a load of crap.
-
Not much else you can do when your QB won't throw in the middle of the field, and your tackles can't block anyone. The plays were fine IMO, the execution was awful.
-
At least there is a slim chance that Bell can get better. Green was at his best 5 years ago, and he wasn't very good then either.
-
Why are you happy that we lost? Your favorite team lost, and you are happy. Think about that.
Seriously, re-evaluate your life.

3 man rush, and he hurries a 3 yard pass.
-
I don't recall that ever being said. Let's see how the servers handle it.
One way to help would be not clicking "reload" every 15 seconds; that will go a long ways toward helping us keep it going.
Alright, sounds good.
-
I thought that we weren't allowed to have one?
-
FWIW Cowher just picked us to beat Miami on the pregame show. Said something to the effect of "Buffalo is a team you better watch out for."
Of course Marino has a snide comment after, but he's a douchey homer, so who cares what he thinks.

Packers vs a young QB, and I'd go with the vet in Williams.
I wish I'd been born a Pats fan.

If you were born a Pats* fan, you would have felt like this almost every year pre-2001.
What the Pats* have are going through now, is what you felt in the early 90's.
