I know it's only a preseason game, but our starters hung in there with the starters from the defending AFC champion Colts. After the game, I realized what I had just witnessed - the beginning of something special. We have a good team this year! Enjoy the ride fellow fans. It's going to be a fun year.
I agree. I am so sick of hearing how BAD BAD BAD the Bills are when they play an Offensive Line with 3 back ups, and a Defense missing a few starters. With everyone in place on the Offense they didn't look so bad. The Defense even played decently. I love the sky is falling mentality when they are playing poor, but no credit to when they play well. GO BILLS!!

NFL Statement: Shawn Nelson has been suspended without pay for the team’s first four games of the 2010 regular season for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse. Nelson’s suspension begins on September 4. He will be eligible to return to the Bills’ active roster on October 4 following the team’s game vs. Jets. Nelson is eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games.

I know the point you are trying to make is that Lee Evans was as wide open as you get in the NFL, but that doesn't mean that you or I or anyone else on this board could have made that throw.

The first draft included a great RB, a QB, two linebackers, two offensive linemen and two defensive backs. Sounds familiar. Of course if Levi Brown is the next Drew Breese I'll eat my keyboard.
Thats funny....dude in San Diego called sports radio and said if Tebow was drafted in the first round he'd eat his shoe...LOL..put some hot sauce on that keyboard....

Yeah, as I said in the other thread, there were no guaranteed fixes for QB and LT this year, even IF they'd had a shot at Williams or Okung. Most of the rookie LT's struggled last year, as did the QB's. This year's crop was weaker in both areas by far.
Agree. They took the best player available, hands down. We've been reaching to fill holes for years now; its about time we took the best player available at any position, instead of reaching or trading up for need.

It is not like the Buffalo Bills need a QB or anything...Raiders making much stronger picks and picking up a solid QB.
San Diego gets a NT in Cam Thomas that is arguably BETTER then Trouple 3 ROUNDS later.
Bills could have grabbed Clausen in Round 2 and STILL got a NT.
Simply unbelievable.
I can really say, even the Lions are having a great day, Buffalo is now the cesspool of the NFL when it comes to organizations.

We haven't been a good team for 15 years...what else is new? The Buffalo Bills are a joke. I now follow this team as an odd curiosity, but I'm not the fan I once was (for most of my life). Thasnk God I don't live in Buffalo.

Gotta say that I really like the direction the Bills are heading. No reaches, no goofy a$$ trades to get into the first round and never batted an eye at that bust Claussen. Our defense got better and is gonna be good...and it better be in this division.

Yes. It's the only TV worth watching. Give me NFL Network and Sunday Ticket and take the rest of it all off the air for all I care. Totally agree...all 5 of my TV's are rockin on Sundays...3 of them on Bills games...for what reason i couldn't tell you!
