Coach: Steve Fairchild. Former OC in 2006-2007. Absolutely zero point in his whole offense. Zero game awareness. He is the only coach that could make Nate Hackett look like a Andy Reid out there. Just a terrible OC.

Player: Jerry Hughes. Like the guy. Disliked the penalties (some deserved some questionable) that he seemed to attract. And strongly disliked the whole "pressures are as good as sacks" argument that would spring up every year.

    Fairchild 100%

The talent is there. Made incredible circus catches on a weekly basis at Notre Dame. Not sure his head is in it.

but for the first time he will have a great QB and an offseason to work with him. So I’m hopeful this works out.

He’s going to have to be better at contested catches to win vertically but I believe he will eat in the intermediate middle of the field as a pro and I don’t mean from the slot

does this mean we are going to run slants and shallow in cuts and drags? They have been missing from the offense for the past 10 years.

  4. Perhaps the private workouts Franklin had with the Bills and other teams didn’t go well.

perhaps he wasn’t sick for the combine he was out partying before one of the most critical days of his professional life?

all that being said he lit up the pac 10, just burn a 5th and get the guy.

Y’know, fans are pissed off about Keon Coleman but 99.9% of Bills fans pretty much adored Troy Franklin, but somehow Franklin is still available in RD3?

I am one of those Franklin people.

Positive attitude, relentless will to improve, loves to block, can contribute on special teams, "best football is in front of him", can play in the Buffalo elements.

Pretty much a grab bag of tired McDermott/Beane cliches with this guy.

Nevermind speed, explosion, separation ability. Nope. He brings his lunch pail to work and he likes to block! Huzzah!

And heaven forbid we not take the guy that JOSH likes. Worked super well with Ken Dorsey.

    *****. Mother*****ing *****.

when your first pick in a draft plays special teams in todays NFL, it is a problem not a good thing.
