  1. Just breath and relax people, it isn't the end of the world, it's the 1st day of free agency of the year. Not all the top players gonna sign away some where else, from us, they gotta explore to see where the right fit is, and closer to home, and money. Just like any other job, so relax and quit feeling like your gonna explode, just relax! there's 7 more months before the regular season starts,

  2. :D

Wow a lot of you people in here are so friggin bitter in here, I say most of yall needs to take chill pills,

  3. http://profootball.scout.com/a.z?s=127&amp...c=16&pid=10, compared to most of the guys ahead of him, except Kurt Warner, Kerry Collins, and Jeff Garcia, he was probably the right choice at back up, knowing those 3 guys I mentioned, I don't think they'd come into Buffalo and be Trent Edwards back up. But to the others I'd take Ryan Fitzpatrick over Patrick Ramsey, Joey Harrington, Charlie Batch would've been a good choice, but I don't think Pittsburgh would let him go, but Byron Leftwich, Rex Grossman, JP Losman obviously, Damon Huard and Brooks Bollinger,
  4. who honestly cares? I mean the guy is going to be 33 years old, didn't even rush for 600 yards, he was put on IR at the end of the year, I don't see Fred Taylor finishing the year with the patriots, he'd be out by the time it starts getting really cold out in NE, He would've gone through the same, if he chose buffalo also.

  5. as much as I've seen coles play, he's short but some how he gets open pretty well, I thought he'd easily go play with Chad Pennington again, but we'll see what happens. We would have a deep depth for sure at the wide out position, but I'll easily take Coles over Kelley Washington, Kelley Washington is a big target, but didn't play well in the offensive role the cheat sheets and the bungles

  6. any body else having problem with getting profootballtalk.com to work? I've tried like every minute to see if its working, I'm pretty pissed, it's the busiest day of the off season, and it's the only website that gives up to current information for football news. I'm really disappointed.

  7. Is it just me, or does any one else think that Anquon Boldin seems like a Biotch? I think Boldin whines too much, I mean he demanded to be traded, because they offered Larry Fitzgerald a contract offer, over boldin. I think Anaquon Boldin is a tough wide out, but he seems like a cry baby to me. Please correct his first name for me.

  8. Isn't he the same guy that blew a time out, when his defense stopped the patriots on 4th down? With less than 2 minutes to play in the game? Yeah I'm not worried, the jets have no consistency year after year. I think the jets are a boring team to watch, The jets had more coaching changes, then us since Marv Levy retired, and Bill Parcells left. Pete Caroll 1999, Bill Belichick for 2 weeks in 2000, then went to Herm Edwards 2000-2005, Eric Mangini 2006-2008, Rex Ryan 2009-? I don't see them winning more under Rex Ryan.

  9. Ray Ray, said that he wants out of Baltimore, do you think the bills should make the move? I think we should, not just because he'll bolster our defense, but we need a player who can play with a mean streak, need some toughness. I mean it almost doesn't matter, that he murdered some body, I'm not saying it's a good thing, but Ray Lewis is just a freak, and probably the last guy in the league, I'd want to piss of. I'd put him at MLB, and move poz back to OLB his original spot in college, I don't see crowell being retained, I know he said he wants to remain a buffalo bill, but he shafted us over, a few days before the start of the season.

  10. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing the cards won. I think the steelers won enough, just like the patriots, I'm tired of seeing them winning the super bowl, but I think the steelers fans are worse then patriots fans, I get a long well with patriots fans, but the steelers fans are so annoying, they act like the steelers are god's given team, and I think they're a bunch of phonies. So it wouldn't hurt to see the cardinals win there 1st super bowl, before the bills. I mean the bills had 4 straight chances before, didn't win one, so I wouldn't mind seeing the cardinals winning.

  11. Yeah, well Atlanta, Carolina and Philly were gonna manhandle the Cards too right?

I don't think people understand the concept of football, too all the people that think, the team has the biggest spread are automatic favors to win, Wrong? It's an any given Sunday, anything could happen in this league, every one over thought patriots and cowboys would be in the super bowl, beginning of the year, neither teams made the playoffs. Or a Manning Bowl, both Manning brothers, got knocked out there 1st games. So I'm hoping for another upset, this year. I'd like to see the cardinals win. If it were the 1970's, then yes the steelers would manhandle the cardinals. But in this day in age, any thing can happen

  12. Pittsburgh appears to have 14 players on defense every play. Arizona is not a good running team, and against Pittsburgh will not be able to run the ball at all. Pittsburgh dared the Ravens(a very good running team) to try and run against them, while they took away the pass, and the Ravens couldn't do it. In fact, the Ravens couldn't do much of anything. I don't think they cracked 100 yards of offense until late in the 3rd quarter. Pittsburgh is gonna force the Cardinals into a lot of 3rd and longs and their pass rush is gonna tee off on Warner, causing him to fumble after getting sacked, or throwing INT's. I can see Pittsburgh winning big in this game because the Cardinals are not gonna be able to move the ball through the air like they are used to. Considering QB's playing against Pittsburgh have averaged a 63.9 QB rating, I don't see Warner putting up big numbers. Pittsburgh is a much more complete team, and their dominant defense is gonna force Warner into a lot of mistakes.

Steelers win, and its not close....

Not a good running team? Edgerin James put up 120+ yards against the falcons, and 73 yards today against the eagles, who they stuffed Adrian Peterson, Brandon Jacobs, and Derrick Ward the 2 weeks, before? Plus Pittsburgh went up against Joe Flacco, Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald, have been on fire this post season. Larry Fitzgerald has also made the most miraculous catches, in this post season. That you'd never see our wide outs do.

  13. Seeing Mike Gandy going to the Super Bowl makes has me shaking my head. I mean this guy was a turnstile with the Bills. But then the NFL is full of players that were dreadful in Buffalo, guys we cut, now excelling on new teams. Pretty obvious the players aren't our problem.

    PTR

I bet you were saying the same thing, when Antwaan Smith won 2 super bowls with the patriots? Honestly who cares, if former bills players, were in the playoffs this year?

  14. Anyone voting for Roethlisberger loses a bit of respect in my book. I'm typically not for hypotheticals like this, however, I do get a little enraged when people don't see the obvious flaws in Roethlisber's decision making skills. He has been making improvements, and has some nice throws, but the team is in the championship because of their defense. If Big Ben was a Bill, you people would have thrown him out of town after his first 30 sacks anyway, so I don't really see the argument.

As much as I agree with you, but with all the hits Ben Roethlisberger took, he probably could have been on IR, but he's probably the toughest QB in the league, with no offensive line, and Roethlisberger isn't afraid to air it out, either. But looking at the strength of schedule, Ben Roethlisberger played harder defenses, all year long compared to Kurt Warner did. I stand with my choice with Warner. But name another QB that went 14-0 his rookie year, and win the super bowl the following year.

  15. Who would you rather have leading our team, Kurt Warner or Ben Roethlisberger, although Ben Roethlisberger is a dueshe, but he knows how to win. But my answer would be Kurt Warner, for a guy who has been under estimated, through out his entire career, has prove people wrong. He's like the Shaq of football, I think where Kurt Warner plays, he could take that team to the super bowl, just like shaq has so far, taken every team he's been on to the championship, except so far the suns, and for Kurt Warner the giants. But I'd like to see Kurt Warner. Pretty awkward I drafted both QB's for my Fantasy Team, now playing for the super bowl

  16. I know what you're saying, it hurts, but since Tampa won a SB and the Baltimore Ravens for that matter (and New England 3 of them!)...the damage has been done. Let Arizona win their SB,,,it doesn't really matter. Pittsburgh has already had more than their share. DO they REALLY need to win another one?

My only beef would be if CLeveland wins a SB before Buffalo. They are the only other American city left that might be more tortured in sports than Buffalo. Although if their NBA teams wins it this year, Buffalo will take the cake.

Yeah I hear ya, Well the only thing Cleveland doesn't have what Buffalo has is Hockey, but we don't have a pro baseball and basketball. Lebron is having a freakish season so far, but there is a lot of teams that could compete with the cavs. But back to Football, Tampa Bay's super bowl win didn't hurt as much, because that was more the snoozing bowl, then the super bowl. Yeah they won before us, but it was a really boring boring game. New England 3 Super Bowl Victory is painful, but they have the same amount of super bowl losses, as wins so it evens out. I guess the only other team that will bug me, to see win before the bills are the vikings, who also lost 4 super bowls, I can't allow to see them win before the bills. But Congrats to both Pittsburgh and Arizona both teams, deserved to get in.
